***Scroll alert*** YleX has not played any Adam songs in their normal playlist. However, the evening programme "Uuden musiikin iltavuoro" has played Trespassing and Shady last week - as they should when they got the interview too. Yesterday they played Outlaws of Love. With my luck they skip Adam today that I am able to listen... We need to wish for NCOE to be played: Sähköposti ylex.toiveet@yle.fi tai ylex.iltavuoro@yle.fi ylex.yle.fi/radio/ohjelmat/uuden-musiikin-iltavuoro/perjantaitoiveboxi pe klo 17-20, toivoa voi etukäteen. ylex.yle.fi/radio/ohjelmat/ylex-toiveet/toivo-ylex-toiveet-toteuttaa la klo 18-20, toivoa voi etukäteen. BTW Has anybody seen a soundcloud of the complete interview on thursday? I did listen to it on YleXAreena but it won't let me choose the time to start listening (it insists playing from the beginning and it is a bit awkward to foreign people...).

Okay, I'm loving the NCOE video! I can't wait to show it to my kids after school. They did not really like the BTIKM video. To them it was boring. I think this video will hold their attention longer!

Adam looks terrific today - wish he'd worn that to NML yesterday. I love the NCOE vid. No need to analyze for me, it looks good, he looks great, it's nice he's not all alone in a room like in WWFM or BTINM. He's great interacting w others. I love the drone fashion. More than the neon suits. And sure it's kind of cheesy that Adam starts voguing at the end there - methinks he views himself as a better dancer than maybe he presents? I mean he's a great mover, prob excellent club dancer but not like Usher which is fine w me. For vids, without any regard to the songs themselves, I like: NCOE FYE WWFM BTINM TFM (even with the cry-face expressions!) IIHY Great job, Adam and Dori the director! And he didn't put in a band performance bit but kept the cinematic storyline most of the way through. I only had time to look once, looking forward to repeat viewings! Oh, and I really also like Adam's version of the "It's a hard-knock life" sequence when they're scrubbing the floor LOL. Are any Adam fans in the Marilyn Denis audience? On the videos....ignoring the music: My list is similar except I really like IIHY: NCOE (I am a sci-fi fan and Adam looks the best in this!!) FYE IIHY and WWFM (a tie for me) BTIKM TFM I think NCOE is a great positioning video for Adam and will sell some music. My ranking is the same as yours Q3 . NCOE and FYE may be a tie. Only complaint, like many others, is that I wish the dancing sequence was longer. I think it's very well done and not 'cheesy' in the least.

Adam gets huge credit from me for always thinking outside the box and being so creative with his videos. And I love him even more for making videos that reflect some aspect of his personality. In this case, the power of positivity to make change and to break free. Pretty awesome, I think. Agreed, No Angel. Love your and Susie Fierce's posts, too. I really enjoyed the video, thought it was fun and original, and Adam is GORGEOUS throughout. Also, loved the look at the end of the video--it did match the end of the IIHY video I thought (as someone else mentioned). Overall, I loved it more than BTIKM video. I think the youngsters will love it! :D

Love all the opinions about the vid. Am I being too literal interpreting that the blue vapors come from Adam crushing the blue pill instead of eating it, his pupils remain undilated because he did not take the pill, so he has enough energy to break free? Then he puts up his blue vapor force field to fend off the bad guys ( who are amusingly in white, not black) to keep from the toxic ( bad guys face masks) smoke. Love Adam as leader and he has yet to meet a camera that doesn't love him. And the big brother red eye is never closed, so could represent the continuous scrutiny of being a celebrity.

Touching upon NoAngel's last post, ITA again. For so long I've been meh on music videos because they're either the same ol' same ol'. Gaga's are high concept and look slick, but usually they end up a series of WTF images designed to shock and not really tell a story (there is usually a story or message in there somewhere, but you have to get past a lot of the ~aren't we shocking and subversive? imagery, which I was burned out on after her third vid pretty much).
And yeah, rawk dudes jammin' in the desert (fire most surely involved)... Zzzzzzz
Or the JLos and Co. who dance, writhe, makeout with love interest in various locations – toss in a variety of camera angles, costume changes.
I love this because it is narrative, but it's not a literal narrative of the song – the same way BTIKM took a different approach to the surface concept of the song and went deeper with it. I love that approach because it's interesting, satisfying from a storytelling standpoint, but still thought-provoking.
