Lolly523 @lolly523"Adam Lambert has released one of the best music videos of 2012" blog.muchmusic.com/adam-lambert-breaks-free-in-never-close-our-eyes-video/ @adamlambert blog.muchmusic.com/adam-lambert-breaks-free-in-never-close-our-eyes-video/ADAM LAMBERT BREAKS FREE IN NEVER CLOSE OUR EYES VIDEO Adam Lambert has released one of the best music videos of 2012 with Never Close Our Eyes. The pop singer has created a mini movie with his music video, where Lambert and his peers are trapped in a totalitarian jail and force to spend their days swallowing pills, being subjected to laser eye scans and hard labour. Lambert and his fellow detainees take their chance to break free at the end of the song, with colourful results. Taking inspiration from science fiction books and films like 1984, Brave New World and Gattaca, the impressive set, featuring futuristic furniture and machines, along with the washed out make up and clothing of the dancers fit perfectly with the video’s concept. more My brain is completely gone. Why didn't I saw the similarities to Gattaca and it's one of my favorites movies. We just finished a science fiction unit in my class, and now I am imagining showing this video in class and letting all my girls have at it, lol. Quickly thinking back in my head... Even focus on the family had nothing bad to say about contents of this song... And then extra credit if you call local radio stations to request the song, lol ;D

Wow - all the reviews in the press of the video are really great!!! And 8 adds already..... Don't have time to post much but did want to say what happened to when our numbers people use to do the ding ding ding and listed the radio adds on Mon and Tuesday? I know we have a numbers thread, but many times I can't get past the daily thread or forget to check there. Anyway, just a quick way to say I really liked them posted here too. Added a lot of excitement to the daily thread and then reminds to check the numbers thread for more detail. Was that Hoppers that use to do that??? Ok, have to get back to work... PS. I like the video, need to watch some more. The conversation here about it has been interesting. I think many, me included, had their own perception of what it was going to be like based on all the "buzz" and it just takes more than the first viewing to get past my own pre-conceived ideas... ETA: Oh yeah, I see Hoppers DID post the adds so far. I saw it after this post... Thanks:-)

Could someone help me, please. I'm going back and trying to find the link to the article about the hate that pastor was spewing about the gay community. I can't find it and I wanted to send it out to some people. I posted it in the Social Action News last week.

I think Adam probably appreciates that fans aren't going to love everything. And everyone is not going to love the same things. It's all just opinions. I happen to like the video, just not as much as his others. Yes!

The "ding string" shows up at around 6:30 pm EST on Tuesday. ;D
