Lots of interesting comments on the NCOE video. I like seeing all the varied reactions and opinions. I think you have to watch it more than once to start picking up some of the details and nuances that pass by so quickly, like the blacked-out eyes - that was trippy. Here are a couple of other images that came to my mind when watching the video - The part where they were in separate box-like enclosures getting their eyes scanned reminded me of airport TSA scanningAlso the part where they were getting sprayed brought back to me the recent image of the security guard at UC Davis walking down a line of seated peaceful protesters and casually spraying themYes and yes - the idea of an ever-encroaching curtailment of personal freedom, so incremental and insidious that it can be overlooked until too late (in other words, now :-/) - unless you are AWAKE and refuse to close your eyes. My favorite part of the video was the the bridge scene - how the synchronized scrubbing is broken up by SOME of the drones choosing to become and dance as individuals instead. I love how some are still scrubbing in unison while others start to seemingly experiment with their own movement. (And I think the ending sequence is great - though too short. A big troupe of absolutely synchronized dancers all moving as one would not have "fit" the mv's overall message of individuality, to me.) I found this video visually interesting - especially the people, the outfits, the shot with the building behind the lines of marching drones. And I thought it was thought-provoking. So, I'm happy.

For those who know.. is this a typical 2nd week drop at 70%? Mys*&@^#r50 posted this list of second-week drops in the Numbers thread. It should put your mind at ease!

Saying that those in the LGBT community are her "peeps" could just as easily be just a show of support.

ABC News Radio @abcnewsradio Adam Lambert Goes Sci-Fi for New "Never Close Our Eyes" Video abcn.ws/KQIAi5 #music #news Adam Lambert Goes Sci-Fi for New "Never Close Our Eyes" VideoAdam Lambert goes the sci-fi route in his new video for his single "Never Close Our Eyes," in which he leads a revolt against an oppressive, Orwellian, futuristic society. In the clip, Adam wakes up in a futuristic cell and joins a line of his people, who are all dressed the same, marching in formation as cameras watch their every move. They all take trays and line up to receive their daily dose of capsules, but Adam doesn't take his. Instead, he crushes it, and a cloud of blue smoke appears. Everyone then steps into a booth and gets scanned, and their eyes turn black, except for Adam's. Somehow, the smoke, or the fact that he didn't take the capsule, has prevented him from being "controlled." Next, we see Adam and his fellow citizens scrubbing floors rhythmically, but he jumps up and leads the charge, encouraging all the zombified folks to "wake up" and join him in escaping. As they run towards a chain-link fence, policemen wearing riot gear try to repel them with white smoke, but Adam's magic blue smoke reappears and covers him and his companions. Suddenly, they're all wearing brightly-colored clothing and dancing like crazy, as a rave breaks out. Speaking about the clip, Adam told Billboard.com, "There's a little sci-fi energy to it. It's very cinematic. It was inspired by a couple different films."
