Sparro's new focus in Paradise

Since Black and Gold, Sparro has been in demand. He's sung with Basement Jaxx and Mark Ronson and has co-written with Kimbra. His latest collaboration has borne fruit: he co-wrote two songs on American Idol Adam Lambert's Trespassing, a No.1 album in the US this week.

One song, Shady, is a duet with Sparro and Lambert, with Chic's Nile Rodgers on guitar.

"He's one of my heroes," Sparro says of Rodgers. "I'm hugely inspired by him and his work. It's real musicianship, real talent, real thought.
