Loved the interview we just listened to live. What's the name of the interviewer with the milk chocolate voice? Adam again spoke of his laundry list of faults, and was asked to talk about it. Is it just me or is Adam very good at ducking that question? He says he is letting us trespass and learn more about what goes on underneath, but, in reality, he gives us very few details. He says he is his own worst critic. Regarding what? What does he doubt about himself? I am not saying that we fans deserve to know this side of Adam. We don't. But, I have to smile when Adam says he is opening up. Like him saying he has no filter. In actuality, he has a very good filter, and he is very good about guarding his privacy and letting us see only what he wants us to see. He did say one thing I have long suspected. that he has to work very hard at the process of being positive. He does it well, and that is his reputation: always positive and upbeat. A ray of sunshine. I always figured that for someone as complex and smart as Adam, that HAD to sometimes be a front. An intentional act. He confirmed it in this interview. Want to listen about 10 more times! Oh! I missed this interview. Is this the one with the guy that has the great speaking voice? Hopefully someone recorded it for us.

www.ellenwood-ep.com/popmusic/2012/05/30/pop-music-news/adam-lambert-says-he-worked-so-hard-on-new-album/Adam Lambert says he worked “so hard” on new album Adam Lambert has said that he worked “so hard” on his new album ‘Trespassing’. The vocal powerhouse released the album in the US and Canada earlier this month and it shot straight to the top of the US charts. Speaking to eTalk, Lambert said that he put a lot of work into the album and that he set himself high standards. He said: “I worked so hard on this album and I had a lot of pressure that I put on myself. I was like, ‘It has to be perfect.” The singer meanwhile in the process became the first openly gay artist to notch a No.1 album in the US, and Lambert believes the tide could be turning in the country. He said: “I think kinda what it proves is that maybe we’re coming up on a time where maybe it doesn’t really matter. At the end of the day we’re all kind of the same. We’re all human.”

Ok, now after posting that I heard NCOE on Kelly, I'll tell ya why I was kind of po'ed at her this AM. They were talking about Idol & Joshua L is on this AM to sing. She said that often times it wasn't the winner that went on to do great stuff. And, then went on to mention Jennifer, Daughtry, and CA..............but NO Adam. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! I felt like tweeting her, but thought that would be kind of stupid so I didn't...lol!! She probably thinks Adam won! ;D

I always figured that for someone as complex and smart as Adam, that HAD to sometimes be a front. An intentional act. He confirmed it in this interview. Want to listen about 10 more times! He has talked about those things in little drips and drabs here and there. He has talked about his insecurities about his looks, skin and weight issues, most notably to Larry Flick where he talked about being fat in high school and having really bad skin also once he tweeted sharing those things and asking what his fans hang ups are. He has talked a little here and there about being very critical of himself in his own head both in terms of his performances and in terms of dealing with his sexuality even in the positive environment he came out of he talked about a lot of his fears being "in his head" as opposed to direct bullying which he didn't get much of partly because of his size as he was a pretty big boy. He has talked about second guessing himself and being overly analytical and praised Pharrell for showing him how important sticking with your instincts are and not over thinking things. He does generally duck that kind of thing when asked about it directly but often in answering other questions he will give little insights into some of his insecurities. I think he avoids it on direct questioning because it can seem a little like whining or complaining if he gets in to it like that.

I don't want him to do the Olympics tbh
A worldwide audience of hundreds of millions of people would get to hear how amazing he is. I don't see how that could be anything but a gigantic win for him.
