www.bsckids.com/2012/05/adam-lambert-releases-never-close-our-eyes-music-video/Adam Lambert Releases Never Close Our Eyes Music Video Adam Lambert has released a new music video for his song “Never Close Our Eyes“, off his latest album Trespassing. The music video shows Adam in an end of the world type setting. He rocks blonde streaks in his hair and shows off his rocker style, which has gained him much appraise. You can catch the music video at the bottom, along with the lyrics below the video. As for other Adam related news, he is celebrating his album reaching the sweet spot of #1 on the Billboard top 200 chart. He seemed to be delighted with the news after all of the hard work he has done to finally reach this stage. Here is what he shared with his fans via Twitter. One of the great things about the album going number one this week is that it proves a point that music doesn’t have an orientation, music is universal. Adam has come a long way since his days on American Idol. It is nice to see that he still has a solid fan base, even after losing the title and being in the doomed second place. He really has the chops and it is good to see that his fans have followed him. While his musical style may not be for everyone, I do think he is in the right place. He seemed to find the spot where he shines and his music does well. I hope that he can stay on this playing field for a while. It would be nice to see his album stay in the upper spots on the charts and keep his fans pleased with his pop/dance/rock sound that so many adore. more

I read that article that Q3 posted above. I listen to top40 and that's all I listen to and all I like. I notice the patterns that it goes through. I know that we are now emerging out of that LMFAO super electronic, dance, pop, sound ie. Pitbull, JLo etc. I think that's going to die out as it's super repetitive and the same. I don't like rock or WGWG music or any of the AC station crap. My age demographic is on the upper age of the top 40 target market. In 100% honesty I think Trespassing is the best CD I've heard since I fell in love with Lady GaGa's first CD, Monster (not a big fan of the 2nd). This has nothing to do with being a fan of Adam. I may not publically vocalize anything I dislike of Adam's but at the same time I won't say I like something if I don't. I just say nothing I notice his older fans want the more rock sound but it's just not a sound that's current today. To me Trespassing is the sound of the next stage. I don't know if some realize just how good it really is because it might not be geared to that particular demographic. It's not what's on the radio now yet at the same time it is. It's the next step above. It's way superior to what's on their now. It's much more complex. It's updated retro. I hope the PD's are astute enough to see it. I know my friends who range in age from 22-28 agree with me that it's the best pop album out there. I know a lot of the UK media have seemed to realize it but they always tend to be a step ahead of the US as far as musical taste (We'll forgive them for Cher Lloyd and 1D) - maybe This is a great post if you guys can only postpone the knee jerk reaction to the old-person stereotype. Let's face it, Adam does have a bunch of older fans who do not fit into radio's target demographic. Doesn't matter if we want him to do rock or not, they don't care what we want in the battle to get this single on the radio. Now, keep in mind I did say a bunch of older fans--I did not say he didn't have young ones too--so please don't jump on me. I, as a middle age woman who does not listen to a lot of radio, greatly appreciate itskarma giving me her opinion on what the scene looks like. I know Trespassing is great but I am thrilled to hear she and her young friends do to. I am not surprised that Adam is forseeing the direction of radio and I hope that he is not too far ahead of his time so that he gets noticed and his fans are inundated with teens who attract the attention of the radio world. We are all seeing things thru different eyes so I love to hear how the young ones see things. Even if in so doing, I take issue with the box they put me in.

Did you try clicking on the blue letters even tho it doesn't look like a link? Was this response aimed at me?? Yes, I clicked on the blue letters!! I haven't been able to access that new feature ever since Q3 added it to ATOP. At least not on Chrome. Yup, same for me. If there is a "normal" html-link to the page, those work just fine. Frankly, I'd prefer those... 'cos I'd really like to hear what Glampoon has put together for us.
