Unless the QUEEN OF ENGLAND wants to post here, no one has the right to use the royal "we" when discussing how people feel or what people think.
Not picking on this specific comment but for example....
"Every time we get down, great things happen......"
I know it was meant in the best way but next time post "Every time I.....

Another thing to keep in mind about that Toronto Sun article, he didn't point out that John Mayer sold 100K less in his debut week than he did with his last album that came out around the same time as FYE, in the US anyway. And John is a well-established artist, who is more of an album seller than he is a single seller. He'll be #1 again next week but other articles have pointed out, like they did with Adam, that there are no high profile releases scheduled for next week either. Album sales are down in general. Adele is an anomaly right now, definitely not the norm. Carrie Underwood is also a bit of an anomaly too. No offense to Carrie, because she is definitely talented, but if she didn't look like a human Barbie doll, I wonder if she would be as huge as she is.

wal - enjoy your vacation time. We won't be surprised if we see a note from you now and then. Staying away that long seems almost impossible. We will have to rely on our tech & news savvy/talented members to take up the slack.

I didn't understand anything they said, but they showed a clip from Michael Jackson's Thriller and then showed the final scene with Adam and the dancers in neon colors. So my guess is that they were comparing it to Thriller. |

Trying so hard not to be down about all of this (this article, other similar comments, the drop, slow adds). I myself am so very proud of him but feel like he/we are fighting an uphill battle. Just don't get it. The album is so fucking awesome. I need to feel hopeful but am struggling tonight.  It has been a remarkable couple of weeks. With the amazing highs there are bound to be some low points. I am just going to gird my loins for the rough patch and look positively to the next upswing. ^^^^ THIS!! Thanks Readon  IT's really been a remarkable couple of weeks. Have never seen Adam looks so happy. I'm really thankfull and enjoying the ride but always buckle up.. LOL |

This site was founded on a few principles -- and the most important one is that everyone's opinion deserves respect and everyone has the right to express their own opinion. That also means that no one can speak for another person. It has two sides. |
