Paradise lost and found
Sam Sparro says his second album, Return to Paradise, is a break-up album disguised as a disco album. It seems that given the choice, post-split, of either shrivelling up and dying or partying, the Sydney-born electro- pop artist decided to go with the latter.
"I think I did a bit of both," Sparro says from London, where the LA-based singer is promoting Return to Paradise, released in Australia today.
Sparro recently collaborated with Chic guitarist and production genius Nile Rodgers for Shady, a track on Adam Lambert's US No. 1 album Trespassing, which features another Sparro co-write called Broken English.
