Nice update! And 50 total adds for NCOE! I think it could be a good week for HAC adds.  For Top40, I would be happy if he picks up one or two big adds. I hope Q102 and/or KISS108 adds this week. Universe do you thing!! |

Excited about the Las Vegas add! Yay!!
Who passed him last night? I am kind of surprised at how slowly Rihanna's song is moving (even tho, IMO, it is really bad!)
WBMX already reported and has only added Kelly and Gym Class Heroes :(

Yeah, WWFM also had to deal with the Christmas freeze, so I guess this should be kept in mind when looking at the 5 1/2 month number. But, having Z100 spinning early and often really carried the song (this also contributed to the timing "issues" the song experienced) In retrospect, I would love to know what RCA had to do in order to get the big stations adding first week. What carried WWFM was the 10-15 CHR adds it was getting every week during its first month of being sent to radio. By the time WWFM had been out for one month, it had 55 Top 40 adds. By the time WWFM had been out for the same mount of time NCOE has been at radio, it was at #34 on the CHR charts with a bullet of 450. WWFM's AI was already at the ten million mark at this point. There were more stations responsible for its climb than Z100. WWFM went into the Christmas freeze at #34 and stayed there during the freeze. |

Thanks Tigerlily for all that information on WWFM.
I wasn't following numbers back then so had no idea what the comparisons were. I wonder why Adam is being treated like an HAC artist now with a pop album and with WWFM's fast trajectory on pop in the past. This doesn't make sense to me.

I agree, Jo, it's kinda backwards. I guess there is a lot more involved with making it on the pop charts than just the song.
And in more bizarre radio news, apparently WTMX played that Phillip Phillip's song 27 times last week? Even if the song got 4 plays per night on U-Mix-It, that leaves 7 additional spins. This blows my mind, if true, because it breaks just about every rule this station follows.
