Poppin' in for a short bit before returning later tonight. Just had to give a quick shoutout to the BTR lovefest. This song has been haunting me for days now. If Adam is going for the non-answer though I don't think he'd go "nope, I can't". That would be more like lying outright than a teasing non-answer like "oh gosh I hope I can perform at the olympics  ". Hope I'm wrong though! Do you guys remember the interview right before the St. Agathe concert behind the stage, all in make up and ready? Asked if he would sing a new song he answered "I don't know" and then we got OOL? Truly, what's a guy to do if he is not allowed to say or just wants to keep the fans in suspense for the entertainment? Adam and Queen will be there. IMH of couse  |

Please use them moderately, please DON'T recopy the same one multiple times on the same page, and please *try* to choose short-ish ones so they don't eat too much bandwidth. Thanks!  thank you. thank you. thank you...  slow speed dialup here, and GIFs, while fun, are hell for my computer, especially when repeated several times on the same page. [grins] Its not just dialup. Quite a few members live in places were there's cable, but fast speeds just aren't available. Just to be clear, I'm not trying to ruin anyone's fun.I just want peeps to be aware and sensitive to the fact that there is a really big data difference between a 2"x2" animated drawing with a 1-2 second "refresh" rate and a hi-res, half page video gif that takes up half a page and last 10 seconds+. If there's a choice between two equally funny gifs (or the same gif at two different sizes and/or resolutions), please grab the smaller one. Or if a large-ish gif you love is already on the page, refer to the post without endlessly reposting the gif. A significant percentage of your fellow board members will thank you. :D 8-) |

Yes, I'm going to ALL Queenbert concerts except Kiev, so I am very blessed, but the planning for this ~wee doozy of a trip is/has been mind boggling (seriously). I'mma talking coordinating/timing 9 flights around the world, 2 major train trips, 6/7 hotels, 5 concerts + associated ticket angst, 6 major cities, 4 layovers in other cities and a gazillion hours flying. Add to all of this is vecadam & I are still awaiting our Russian visas, which has been a book worthy saga in itself.
I'm exhausted and freaking out right now cos there is still soooooo...much to do! and I have only 22 sleeps to go #panickingbigtimeThe good news is that I bought brand new, the latest squeaky clean iPad and iPhone 3 days ago. I know now how to take pics, have successfully tethered my iPad to my iPhone for mobile data use (exclusive of wifi), have scoped out where to buy data plans in each country cheaply : and have set up a shhhhhhhh......... working live stream account No promises tho - OK fandom! Sooooooo.... many unknown factors to be taken into account when I finally get to the other side of the world. I'mma gonna try to LS, even if it's just bits of concert, but please, please, please don't take this as gospel. I will do what I can for y'all, but technology - as awesome as it is - gets fucked up no matter how carefully you plan it. We have seats for Moscow, but are in premium GA front of stage for Poland and I am short! I still don't know how much battery life for a 1.5 hour show, live stream takes????? AND sorry, selfishly, I'm not entirely sure that I want to stand rigid for this amount of time. NZ to Russia and Poland is a loooooooonnnng way by anyone's standards & I want to embrace the vibe and feeling of the concert personally to the max without being committed and obligated to ~providing. Gonna try my bestest for you all for Moscow & Poland - but no promises OK!!!! London will will have a gazillion ninja's, so am not going to bother there at all - am just going to sit back & enjoy. |

I don't know if Adam is or isn't being considered to join Queen for the closing ceremonies but I can't imagine that the band would wait until after the 6 upcoming performances to decide. If they decided they DIDN'T want him, then what the heck would they do for a fall back position?
If they haven't asked Adam, I'll bet they perform with a bunch of different folks like Elton, George Michael or (doubtful) even Bowie.
