So? ??? These are the people that rule Brit pop. And they all happen to have really good voices. Isn't Adam one of those people? Why the laugh? IDGI Huh? I just laughed because I've noticed it, and I didn't think anything about it further than that. I didn't mean anything malicious by it :-/ OK . The way I read it, it was like they're not important sorry.

Just popping in to give what may not be a popular opinion, but knowing that Adam is respected and comfortable in the company of people like Brian, Roger, Elton, Nile is so much more impressive to me than a # 1 record on the radio. I don't need any lectures on the facts of his musical longevity life, etc, I'm just stating what I feel with all of my being. To me, being iconic isn't Bieber or Usher or Carrie, it is having a voice that knocks the socks off other musicians and having a rep for being a really good guy. Hmm..We all know that Adam has lots of critical acclaim and industry respect, but it's still nice for him to have mass appeal, acceptance, and love as well. But have you noticed that all of those iconic people you've mentioned have had #1 songs and albums in the past. To me, both things are almost the same, in importance. Disagree. Not saying they aren't both important, but I think the reference was to the constant angsting about numbers to the exclusion of the big picture. When Adam has been asked what 3 people he'd like to have at the dinner table (paraphrasing) you haven't heard him say any of today's stars. None of us know what Adam's end all dream is, but I think he'd agree with Savvy that being ACCEPTED and ADMIRD by people who matter not by people who survive on 6-pack abs, tight asses, and autotune is way higher on his list of "must haves." As usual, JMO, I have a hard time saying JMHO, so I'll leave the humble out of it. Hehe.

Haha! Shame, I was really hoping for Master Plan *sigh* I'll never get my Cole Porter standard, right? ;D I understand he'll be doing a Cole Porter medley including such favorites as, "That Zip Cornwall Cooch," "What's This Awful Hullabaloo," and "The Absinthe Drip."

By looking at the line-up. Aren't these all reality tv contestants? Like Britain's got Talent and X-Factor?
Great lineup for a charity event.
