So three songs tonight at RAH - any takers on the what will he sing guessing game... NCOE (definitely); Trespassing (probably); WWFM (maybe); or Naked Love (maybe) Long shot: Broken English Really long shot: Underneath Rationale - focus on current era songs. WWFM wasn't really a well-known song in UK so why do it. Given ticket prices and other artists audience will probably skew younger so ballads not such a great fit. I'm going to go with NCOE, Cuckoo ( so many hints about it being the next single, btw) and Naked Love. If by some magical conjurations I got the chance to choose, Adam would sing Underneath, CLYG and Runnin'. To me, of course, right into my left ear

I wonder why Adam's band is not being used for the events in England. I would think they would want to use his experienced band to make the best impression.

To me, of course, right into my left ear I don't think cuckoo at a benefit for kids - only because of the "fuck" factor... I know is UK and not such a big deal but he doesn't bleep himself on it. But then I could be and am usually wrong on these things.

For me, there are several linking lines, or maybe it would be better to call them curves or spirals ( because it's a 'long and winding road' from TP to OOL which hold all songs together and connect them into a firm, compact unit. 1. Focus: from TP, which is focused on the outside, on the way Adam feels he is treated by people in general, to the complete introvertness of OOL. 2. Emotion: the predominant feelings of the first part are those of happiness, joy, loosened inhibitions, hedonistic indulgences in life's little pleasures... which gently, like through some kind of an internal monologue shift into the sadness and despair of the second part. 3. Colour: the lightness and the darkness of the album don't stand opposed or contrasted. They blend quietly almost as if Adam had added bit by bit of black to every song, the next one always getting more of it, until he ended up with all beautiful shades of whatever colour Trespassing is. 4. Beat: from the heavy, imposing, stomping, aggressive beat of TP, to the barely audible, light as a heartbeat, percussions on OOL. 5. Voice: from loud, fierce, gritty, powerful, to gentle, raw, emotional. There's not a thing he can't do with his voice, and I think that he showed every colour of it on Trespassing, to those who can and know to listen. Trespassing is cohesive as any amazing work of art can be: as a painting, as a story, as a film. Again, I wish I could describe it better, but its artistic rhythm is cascading. * I have to go to work, but I have additions to this story. Good morning to everyone and happy birthday MAYUMI !!!! Yay, I'm back with a vengeance:) I'm quoting myself, how lame is that, I can't seem to help it... Anyways, where was I... TP and OOL are two faces of a mirror: they both talk about the exact same thing! Of course, then they differently portray the ways in which Adam reacts to such a situation. Both reactions are genuine. It is possible that TP shows the outside, what Adam allows others to see, what he wants others to see or think - the brave, fierce, 'you cannot hurt me/ chase me away/ stop me from being all fabulous' and OOL what he feels but never shows - at least not in public. In OOL he gave the voice to that hurt, which is a major step - no one should dare touch that song. If you don't like it, keep it to yourselves, dear reviewers. And just like two magnets, these two songs are so connected by attraction and they keep the whole album firmly together - it's pure science ( physics, I think:) All songs in between are beautiful representations of Adam's other sides/ feelings/desires/thoughts, but perfectly ordered and gradual, as I said before. The four bonus tracks, which I adore to pieces, all four of them, are such gems, but they would destroy the perfect equilibrium of the album. Like precious stones on a ring, they adorn it, but if they were put in the ring, it wouldn't be a ring anymore, the circle would be broken. Imho. This album is in for some awards: if those people who make such decisions give it a serious listen. I could never understand how they do it: they listen to the album once, twice and bam, here's the review. I listen to it gazillion times every day and there are still so many things to be discovered. Almost all the reviews are more than positive, but they are not very thorough, i think. Yes, thats a really key point - many reviewers are not very thorough. What an ADD world we live in! But Adam's album is not froth on the wave. Like so many of us have said, its layer upon layer. And in the centre is that shining heart and soul. I feel it in very song. About runnin' (one of my favourite faves). Ironically the theme of runnin FITS. Its about that moment of discovery "now its time I realised" after which you are going to 'Go for it' and also what happens when you dont (spiral down). The theme would fit very nicely between say Pop that Lock and BTIKM. But the sound of the music of Runnin' doesnt fit in with electrofunkpop. I think its a straightforwad rock ballad (unless i have my genres mixed up). So you know, whatchoogonna do? I dont understand why adam doesnt quite get why people like it so much though. Its a number one hit in some era and some place. ;D

I really don't remember seeing this on Atop, so sorry if it was posted. Adam Lambert Interview (Article) in Koululainen magazine 6/2012Translation by Moominbert ~" I was ready for true love, and it's full of beauty and joy. Sometimes I feel like I can't live without my other half. He keeps my feet on the ground even when I'm flying high. Sometimes it feels like he knows me better than I know myself. The couple enjoys spending their free time in their home on the Hollywood hills. - We go walking or running, and we have a gym at home. We like to watch tv and movies and cook together. I like Finnish food and culture, but I don't care for salmiakki." ~ " My dad, a project manager, taught me to be ambitious and to reach for my goals, but also to be practical. My mother, a warm-hearted interior designer, has always been there for me." ~ " I used to live in a studio apartment, now I have a three-story house. I have more opportunities, less time to sleep, better clothes, I get better service in restaurants, and people pay a lot more attention to me than they used to. I get gifts and I have a team that takes care of how I look. Fame is a hard currency. I'm not proud of it, but that's how the business works." ~ Adam is interested in philosophy and astrology, and he believes in both karma and energy. "A positive energy creates well-being and success, a negative energy drives you towards depression. I've experienced karma, too. When I've gossiped about someone, someone else has spread gossip about me. Or the person I've gossiped about has found out and been upset." Read more: www.twitlonger.com/show/hnnqst
