I just want to say I sent kumar a cd of Trespassing and it was returned by the post office "returned due to export control regulations" not sure if this is U.S regulations or Syrian. When I was at the post office she checked the list and we did not find music. My point is we should be very thankful we can buy music and not have our government take any of our freedoms away. I hope one day kumar will have the freedom to buy music she loves and not have to get it illegally off the Internet. Srly? Customs refused to let the CD into the country?? Whatever for? Could it have just been an agent in a bad move? Or is Adam's music just not allowed in Syria? Basically, there is no mail allowed to be sent from the United States to Cuba, Iran, Sudan, and Syria, because their governments are sponsors of international terrorism. (ETA: This list is as declared by the US Department of State.) I looked on the post office site and the ban is broad: only food and medicine may be exported. Adam's music is medicine for the soul and food for thought, the basis of freedom ...
