At least this time around there's a great excuse for the ubiquitous gay talk: Adam being the first openly gay artist to top the charts.
When he heard the first q, he straightened in his chair and sounded all official, like a politician:)
He relaxed and smiled and gestured when the music talk started:)

Srly? Customs refused to let the CD into the country?? Whatever for? Could it have just been an agent in a bad move? Or is Adam's music just not allowed in Syria? Basically, there is no mail allowed to be sent from the United States to Cuba, Iran, Sudan, and Syria, because their governments are sponsors of international terrorism. (ETA: This list is as declared by the US Department of State.) I looked on the post office site and the ban is broad: only food and medicine may be exported. Adam's music is medicine for the soul and food for thought, the basis of freedom ... Didn't she say something about sending things to addresses in Egypt, or Lebanon or Saudi Arabia - I assume to friends who could then resend. |
