I'm listening to Sirius 20 on 20 online now. NCOE just came on!
Now I hope at least this "online" play counts for something!

Just my opinion but I don't think I would get upset over an on line spin. It may not get counted as a spin, on mediabase, but a lot of people will hear it. I only listen to some stations on-line.
Also, if people hear it on line and like it, it will get more requests and get played eventually on the air. And to answer some of your questions, some stations play a few different songs on line than on the air. But there are stations where the on the air broadcast and the on line broadcast are exactly the same.

Yeah, but just online, not on radio. I saw the chat and somebody asked them why on radio a different song is being played and SOL responded they played NCOE online only. Does it mean it is not counted as a spin? OK not to sound like a rebel but haven't we been waiting for a Radio spin from them and it has only been internet? If that is true and I am asking here... then next time maybe get more in their face about why is this??? I just don't get it. We don't want radio to get upset with fans but I feel like they jerk us round. Ok, don't want to get modded for going OT:-) A few of the Adam fans in the chat room for the ustream tonight were quite rude. I believe they banned Adam for fan behavior last album. SNOL was trying to appease the fans in the chat room by playing NCOE on the stream. SNOL comment was something to the effect that there are 39M listeners on 70 radio stations who are not requesting NCOE and 20 something of you on chat. I hope that we as fans kill SNOL with kindness. |

It's like they are obsessed with this one station! Screw these guys and spend time on other stations or voting somewhere else. They screwed around with the spins and with the fans the whole time last era! >:( If they play NCOE, thank them or ignore them, otherwise just leave them alone! It's really not worth it. |
