The issue here is not appearing as "stan vs non stan", but rather "stan(who doesnt listen to the radio) vs actual radio listener(whether it be a fan or not)". Most ppl who listen to the radio esp top40 know that every artist has a single out and that thats the one that gets played. Perhaps. But, in the past when I got sick to death of hearing a certain single played ad nauseum on my Top 40 station, I *have* phoned them up and requested something else from that artist's album. Have they played something else? Nope. Until I started SERIOUSLY stanning Adam, I honestly had no fucking idea how radio worked. Yep. This was me too. I used to request obscure Grateful Dead songs. Yeah.....never happened. And this may be an unpopular opinion, but honestly, I still don't give a fuck about top 40 radio. It has little or no bearing on what I listen to and most of it is terrible!

I am feeling old right now. Does any one else remember the days when radio stations would play a song off a record that was requested? Course those were the days when they had vinyl and did actually spin a disc. And I don't think they were the "pop" stations. Gah i miss those times. Maybe some of these "less than intelligent" folks are just stuck in a time warp. LOL... yes, a thousand years ago DJs actually *did* that!!! I'm just curious if all the peeps who received the box sex are actually playing the vinyl... ANYONE TRIED IT YET??? NOPE! It's still nicely nestled in the plastic wrapper. Cant play it as I don't own a turntable. ;D ;D ;D

I agree! I hadn't listened to radio in years until Adam. I buy what I want to listen to. Now I listen because I want him to be played and it's what he wants. However, its killing me!

seoulmate - I have played the vinyl and it sounds wonderful. Still have my turntable and had purchased extra needles when I saw the trend to CD's. I have a large collection of vinyl and wanted to continue to play the records every now and again.

Amw, I listen but am not a steady radio listener. BUT, a Pop radio star is what Adam wants so badly. So I request, and vote and play their silly whacking games. I hope someday that he is so big on radio that I don't have to do any of those anymore.

I guess it's Manchester and not London after all? [confused] Via ALFC, FB No - they got it wrong (if you go to the G.A.Y. website, the Manchester part is a promo banner for the new Manchester G.A.Y.) It's definitely at the London venue twitter.com/#!/JeremyJoseph

Very good NCOE from RAH by Zanzibar46 (uploaded in the last 40 minutes). Close-up and great audio, although a few blurry moments when zooming.
I uploaded Trespassing by Zanzibar near the end of yesterday's thread, but I'll include it here too.

Just a quick comment on the "radio talk".....if you want diversity and to hear more of what an artist has to offer then radio is not the place to go for that experience. Top 40 is Top 40. The recording company's and the stations are playing what they think their demographic wants to hear. It's a business not an artist's stage. We all want Adam to be heard. We all want listener's to hear all the other songs that Adam sings. We want the listeners to see that he's more then just his Top 40 single. Radio would not be the where that will happen. Adam wants people to hear NCOE. He's promoting it as his current single. All we can do is request it.
