Aftermath Remix to be released to U.S. radio!

RCA decided to send the Aftermath Remix to radio. Here is the announcement RCA Ed posted on AdamOfficial.com:

RCA Ed: Hey gang, just got an update from the radio promo team, saying that the "Aftermath" remix will be serviced to terrestrial radio this week!

This was a very unexpected decision, because they had made a decision that FYE was done for US Radio. It is still highly unlikely that this song will get promotional support from RCA. But it does mean that stations have the song and can play it if the program director (PD) decides to add it to their station’s playlist.

Glam Nation Live DVD getting reviewed as a major new release – which it is!

The first good news is that GML DVD is getting reviewed as a major new release – not a guarantee for a DVD of a tour from an album released 16 months ago. The second piece of good news is that the reviews are good!

I posted on the other thread but it's probably dead now so I just wanted to say THANK YOU GELLY for finding me a mp4 of Adam's AI performance of WWFM! :-*

I had to leave right after I posted and just got back. Thanks to everybody who were trying to find me a mp4. Atopia really has the nicest and most helpful people!

I just got HD upgrade on my Dish Net today and now I'll get to go watch my just arrived today GNT DVD/CD on it!! Life's good!

And yes, the voice is even betterer on this than being there live (and that takes some beating). I, like others, were so mesmerised by being in the actual presence of our Alien Prince, absorbing the magic, the spectacle, the ~~hip thrusts~~ fabulous dancing and the incredible atmosphere and energy that he brought to the crowd that even tho I saw eight GNT's, I still came out of every one of em 'dazed and confused' by what I had just witnessed.

There are specific performances that I recall vividly... the Brisbane, Australia SW was UNF city, WLL in Washington DC another, but for me the whole show blurred into a sensory overload of fabulosity and joy.

I am sooooooo.....loooking forward to be able to sit down, listen 'properly' to the VOICE and watch a concert with the benefit of a remote control in my hand

On another note and following on from yesterdays thread, I have been blessed to have never experienced an earthquake (so far). The recent Christchurch one was 'only' a 6.3, but the reason there has been so much devastation and loss of life (compared to the 7.1 they had in September last year which had no deaths) is that this one was only 11km under the surface and went straight through the heart of the city and CBD (Central Business District). I gather the closer to the surface it hits, the worse the damage.

There is also a guy here who predicted this earthquake to the day using info about the Moon's influence. He has been ridiculed by media and a number of other outlets etc, but he has also predicted another earthquake to hit NZ on the 20th - two days away. People there, despite being cynical are nonetheless 'jumpy'.

We'll see how that works out. I hope he is wrong.

Christchurch held a very emotional commemorative service today that had a 100,000 people turn out to a local park. There was speeches by the Prime Minister, Prince William (who came to show support) and other notaries, prayers from Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Jewish, Maori, Hindu, Polynesian and Bahai faiths and much beautiful singing. Our National Anthem had many in tears, it was sung so beautifully and with love. There were also many, many thoughts and prayers for Japan. They came to help us in our time of need and we have now sent a USAR team to them in their time of need. World love is a beautiful thing.

Anyways, need to go listen to GNT Live again - also a beautiful thing :-*

I need soothing, tomorrow will be a difficult day. It is the 2nd anniversary of my Mum's passing.... last year I scattered her ashes and wept (for many reasons)... this year I am planning a whole new life. What a difference a year makes. Being an Adam fan these past two years has helped me through some of the darkest and most difficult times of my life.

Our boy doesn't probably realise it - but he is a healer :-*

awww, catzmadam.... I loved your whole post, but especially the above paragraphs. Your description of the commemorative service brought tears to my eyes. Man, so much gut-wrenching emotional stuff happening. :-/ :'(
