Okay, I fiannly have to break down and post something. Q3 and mods, this really is about Adam, I just need to bitch to you guys for a few minutes since my husband is ready to file for divorce (JK). I’ve been here on and off for the past several weeks. However, typing is really difficult. My brain tells my fingers what to do, but MY FINGERS WON’T FUCKING LISTEN! At which point I do things like curse at the keyboard at the top of my lungs (my dog is now afraid of me), slap the fingers of one hand with the other hand (which usually misses and for which each hand is alternatively grateful), get up and stomp around the room, yell at my husband (who is being so sweet and helpful and doesn’t deserve it), then eventually cry in frustration. Then I spend a ridiculous amount of time correcting the millions of typos (if I left them in, it would read like some unknown foreign language). Then I get all done, all proud of myself, and hit some never-before seen key and delete the WHOLE FUCKING POST! This morning I am typing this in my word processing program and saving it every few seconds. Take that you fucking disabled, non-typing hands! Reading the threads is also tough because my scroll finger refuses to listen to my brain and those up and down arrows suck. You’d be amazed at how many times I’ve wound up on different pages and in different threads (damn keys that never existed before again). All of the ranting and whining, though true, is meant to make you guys laugh, NOT feel sorry for me. And the physical and occupational therapists keep telling me how much typing is such good therapy. I bet you know what choice words I have for them. Things are improving little by little though. I’m able to do many things that I couldn’t right after the surgery. I can write fairly well and I’ve remembered my high school shorthand/steno (thanks for being such a prick Mr. Bastido – little did I know it would come in handy 40 years later). It’s just a shame my husband can’t read shorthand, but he does get out of doing a lot of chores by not understanding my “to do” lists. This post is so long because I’m gonna get everything said, damn it! After which time you can find me curled up in the fetal position with a bottle of booze and a bottle of pain meds. Now fiannly I get to the Adam part. I’ve recently been partially responsible for three non-Adam fans being converted to fans. First up, my sister-in-law. She pretty much hated Adam on Idol – too flamboyant and too much screaming. She refused to watch any youtubes I sent her or listen to any acoustic stuff when I brought some cd’s with me on several visits. She called me a while ago and said “So did you see your boy on Idol?” I braced myself for the usual negative comments,. She said ”Wow, he can really sing. That performance was beautiful!”. After I picked my jaw up ff the floor, she continued. She is a nurse and said that many of her co-workers are pretty conservative and have agreed with her in the past on the screaming and his being too flamboyant (too much make-up, etc. – nothing about being gay). Well Adam’s performance on Idol was the talk of the water cooler the next day. They all loved it! And couldn’t get over how handsome he is. SIL said that she thought the new, toned down Adam will gain a lot of new fans this era. Next up, my music geek friend. We have a lot in common in musical tastes. However, he has never cared for Adam. Again, the too much screaming thing. I figured I’d try one more time and sent him the Queen performances, a few old acoustics, BTIKM and NCOE. He called me last night to say that he loved them! What a voice! What an entertainer! He’s doing some concerts with Queen? Please send me videos! The third person is my 30 something occupational therapist. She didn’t dislike Adam, just forgot about him after Idol. After talking about him, I sent her the videos of BTIKM, NCOE and a Trespassing performance. Her comment “Wow! I loved it! I will definitely buy that album!” One new fan at a time................... Well, that’s it! It only took me an hour and a half to type! Progress (I think). In case any of you would like to post about the personal side of Sugaree's post I am going to help her out and provide the link [/b] atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=membernews&action=display&thread=331&page=64

Sauli interview broadcast this morning at www.voice.fi/nettiradio/Anu Poukka annelisejoannalizzy @8_jennyy Size of a hobbit! LMAO here!!! He did reply to a question if they get photographed a lot. Well, sometimes. Sauli said it will be a very very quiet interview if she asks about their relationship. Retweeted by Anu Poukka Vappu: I cannot see you as a housewife. What do you do in LA? S: No, you couldn't make me a housewife even if you tried. I'd get so bored! In Finland we'll start Tutka Roadshow - same what we did in US - now in Finland I couldn't do catwalk since I'm the size of a hobbit! And the pics in the mag are my own thing - not 'cause A - I had my own publicist to do some work Sauli you're also working in LA. I'm not sure if it's cover yet but 7 pages in Fault @taotao276 joannalizzy Don't know yet if we get this recorded - using souncloud for the first time - might just be a mess... joannalizzy @taotao276 is also translating online @laura_ansa NO. There was no mention that he's already left for London either. Must be taped earlier joannalizzy he's talking about his life in LA, and finding friends in LA mingling with Finns in LA @taotao276 avasin soundcloudin, mut tää on eka äänitys, joten saa nähdä miten käy... en lupaa mitään @8_jennyy @laura_ansa @illuxxia Anyone going to soundcloud Voice - Vappu/Sauli? I can translate @illuxxia RT Laura @laura_ansa Sauli's interview here soon!!! t.co/x1tpABJu So if I understand correctly, he could even have the COVER of the next Fault? *Crossing fingers...

sugaree....your post is hilarious!! Thank you for making the tremendous effort to write it! Seems very wrong to laugh at your misfortune but it sounds like you're progressing nicely and have an upbeat attitude. (frustration aside - poor hubby ..hehe ). ...and YAY for the new converts! Good for you! :D Borrowing Duberville's post to remind everyone of the slight policy change in case you missed it on Page 1: Adamtopia is a community and members genuinely care about each other's lives, both celebrations and troubles. We want members to get love and support, and we also want to keep the main News Thread focused on Adam. If you have a piece of personal news to share, it's okay to mention it on the News Thread, but then please link to the Member News & Advice Thread so that people can respond freely: adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=membernews&action=display&thread=331 If you forget, a mod will post the link and redirect people to that thread, while deleting any off-topic posts.

Sugaree.....loved your post and it's all the better for the trouble you went to to share it with us. Hope you continue to improve - your sense of humour and enthusiasm for Adam will see you through, I'm sure. So good to hear about differing perceptions of him outside of the fan bubble. I too think he is winning many new fans with this album, so it's nice to have some confirmed!

I love crowd shots like this, wouldn't it be fantastic to have a photo like this seeing yourself in the audience? A couple of observations: Not many people obliged Adam to "get naked" AND, I am going cross-eyed trying to read the sign the guy (front row, centre) is holding. Is he saying, "What I want from U A KISS here and now?" ??? Guess he didn't sing that song ;D If I were there, I'd have taken my shirt off the second he said "I wanna see tits"! I've never done it before, but I'm sure I wouldn't be able to refuse his orders 8-) I almost took it off here at home, just watching the video... ;D ;D
