The Do Something Awards!! This is one RCA got behind last time. This is something we can get Adam and he's on there! We don't have to write in!! How come I don't see Rickey Martin... My vote was recorded for Adam.. weird I voted a few hours ago and my vote went for Adam. So weird!! Maybe it's the browser? ETA: I just used 2 different browsers, Google and Explorer and it said Adam both times. :-/ |

Will put up the Ding String as soon as kidlet goes to bed. Was a weirdly quiet week for anyone who wasn't a country artist, but Adam got some quality adds.  |

I had no problem voting for Adam. You don't have to sign into twitter or facebook do you for your vote to count. They popped up after I voted. adamrocks, did you click "submit" after clicking on Adam's photo or just click on Adam's photo? |

Love him or hate him, Adam knew how to get people's attention, sometimes get people downright angry, and make those who were faint of heart and/or feeble of mind squirm in their support hose--all very good things in the world of rock and pop. On this fateful night, Adam took a strong stance, making it clear that he planned to stay true to himself, even if that meant freaking out Randy Travis with his goth manicure, or refusing to "go country" on Opry Night (though I think black-clad country maverick Johnny Cash would have appreciated this remake). Many Glambert performances--"Mad World," "Tracks Of My Tears," "Whole Lotta Love"--could've made this list, but "Ring Of Fire" is the one that really put him on the glittery map. After the list of very honorable mentions, there's this!

It's 7:51 EST, and my tweets are saying I voted for Ricky Martin. I went back and voted again. Again it said I voted for Ricky Martin. Now I like Ricky Martin, but when there is a picture of my Adam, there is no way I want my twitter to say I voted for Ricky Martin. I tweeted VH1. Do not know if they are paying attention. I guess we will see. I even nominated other people for stuff, but I had to pick one of the pictures to even submit a new nomination. I think the whole board is off.
