Is the new Fantasy Springs concert sold out? or not yet? The first Fantasy Springs concert didn't sell out right away. The fans in the know snapped up the better seats right away, but it took a while for the back of the house to sell. I think it is pretty much the same this time around. peace&love Ticket sales are slower this time around. The back of the house being slow to sell is different than 50% of the tickets still left. Without a big radio hit and the fact that so much time has passed since AI, this is to be expected this time around. If radio jumps on board with NCOE or any future song, this will change.  |

Sorry, but I checked before I posted earlier. The floor is not sold out -- there are tickets available at every price level, including VIP (although VIP appears to be almost sold out). Also tix available in the side sections. |

I'm sure the other two guys were thrilled to be opening FOR Adam. Javier has already been dropped from his crappy label deal from winning The Voice. The show doesn't support their winners and it's really kind of sad. Jermaine is a husband and father of two who has spent his entire life being a background singer. He is so appreciative of this or any opportunity. Adam was obviously the draw and the Headliner and the other two artists were just happy for the opportunity to sing for others. I can appreciate opening acts who are struggling and trying to pay their dues. It can't be easy to be in the position of having to perform every night for an audience who isn't there to see you. It has been forever since I posted, but just had a few minutes to skim and had just watched this vid on twitter--SO GLAD 96.5 TOOK THIS!! REALLY HELPED MY MOOD TODAY TO RE-LIVE A BIT OF MY NY ADVENTURE!! ;D Cassie, Adam WAS soooo good that day--the love for him was PALPABLE! (lol, isn't it always?!) For example, when the young girls to my right spotted his hair (JUST his hair!) they had legit breakdowns. The proof is in the pic, lol:  Then he DID proceed to BLOW US AWAY! By Naked Love, EVERYONE'S hands were in the air and when he did IIHY it was pandemonium! BUT--Jermaine and Javier were also really good and well-received! Jermaine in particular. His band didn't show up (travel problems) and he was just flying by the seat of his pants...what a great job he did singing old classics to a tape and getting everyone to sing along. His voice is SUPERB! I have been super busy since I got back, but as I have time, I'm working on a recap of my trip. My pics and vids are total crap as I didn't have time to learn how to use my phone properly first and my fingers are still effed up. But I'll post the best I have with a tl;dr recap : in the Six Flags thread when I'm done. Best part of trip (aside from Adam/Nikka) was--of course--visiting Sugaree and robininny--and meeting SO MANY MORE Atoppers for the first time!  |
