I'm confused are you saying it's pointless to vote in a poll like this? Not use less! Its still awesome promo (and, hell, bb deserves it, cause he *is* a sexy mofo)  Just that the most use ful thing to get the stubborn radio play Adam desperately needs is to get more people to request, so that more ears hear and get to love NCOE. 'Cause the more new peeps who fall down the Rabbit Hole, the better. THAT'S #1. |

This is a fan voted poll and it's nice to see Adam win it, but it's mot much in the way of vindication! I would take A TENTH of the spins and sales numbers the other guy has with his current single over this fan-driven "victory". I would trade every fan-driven award Adam has ever had for a number 3 song with a 1200 bullet that is climbing to the number one CHR spot! |

Made it to the bottom of page 1 at least and have to post here because might not make it any further. Sat here with my spinning rainbow for 4 minutes because of gifs, that's the reason I'm seldom here anymore. Miss everyone and miss the news you bring. One other thing, I love the new "rules." I had avoided some days because I'd be excited and pumped then come to see all the negativity. Anyway, will keep trying to stop by, but it's become an exercise in futility with my MacBook... bye Aww bb. Ok, I know there's a huge compendium of information on Page 1, but I found out when I was stuck on dial-up that if you just start on PAGE 2, the data overwhelm issues aren't there (or at least are almost gone). We're also really working at asking peeps to keep gif sizes down to reasonable sizes (you're not the only one with bandwidth issues). But Page 1 will admittedly always be a killer. [smiles] Just sidestep it and the rest of the thread should be ok. ETA: Just thought of something. Can you turn off "Hardware Acceleration" on a MacBook? Should be a button or a slider in your Settings. That should disable the gifs long enough for you to read Page 1, and then you can just flick it back on when you're done. |

Oh ame - I forget you're a relative Adam newbie! "Down The Rabbit Hole" was a bonus song on Adam's first album For Your Entertainment, and was one of the opening songs on the GNT. It relates to the rabbit hole in the children's story "Alice in Wonderland", in which Alice falls from the "real world" into the craziness of C.S. Lewis' alternative world. [grins] Reminds most of us of our Adam journey, so its used as a catchphrase around here a lot! chapf has a really cool gif for this. ;D |
