These versions of Shady, OOL, Broken English, and NCOE that Larry plays are
TOTALLY different from the cuts on the CD. Shady is more funky, OOL is more beautiful and a little angsty, and BE is not quite as different, but I think there are a few differences in it, and just heard NCOE, and I like it much better than the cut on the CD, funkier and more jamming.
If anyone else missed this, listen now! I'm sure yall have already talked about this, I've been gone a lot lately.
And, I want these cuts on my iPod now!!!!!
Has anyone ripped just the songs for MP3?
eta: can someone please point me to where this was discussed on Atop, and did Cassie do any analysis?
I'm still not finished listening, but I gather that these songs were performed live in the Fish Bowl studio, and it appears that Adam had backing tracks, or is that Kevin on keys? Please and thanks!
(my son is home from college for the summer, so I have very limited time for Atop - so sad, I have missed so much!)

I must have these songs!!!! IMO they are better than the cuts on the album.
