sugaree: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! AND HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!
I don't know what we would do without you in the Moon Garden! My heart always lifts when I see you posted because I know it's going to be honest. You are precious to me girl! I love the idea for the game. I am reading a book about a famous wildfire ... for those of you who like history, it's very good ... The Big Burn: Teddy Roosevelt and the Fire that Saved America, by Timothy Egan. Anyway, I'll post songs about fire and burning for this "round." Let's have some fun today. See sugaree's post for the "rules": www.adamtopia.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=inspired&thread=956&page=45#313595Oh, how some Austin cops got in trouble for texting the lyrics to this song a couple of years ago when a local disco and well-known trouble spot burned to the ground:

More Bob Seger. One of my all time FAVORITE songs! "You remember Uncle Joe? He was the one afraid to cut the cake."

Another one of my favorite songs of all-time. Can you believe Elvis didn't want to record this song because he didn't like the "hunk-a hunka-a" part? Just think what we would have missed!

One that has always touched me deeply. The complex and ambiguous lyrics gave it a whole new meaning after 9/11:
