I don't usually play the umixit game.Thought I'd help tonight, but this is frustrating. Maybe I'm bad luck! Now they have BTIKM on the queue :( WWFM and BTIKM and NCOE...they are messing with us tonight, and now NCOE is gone. :

Now I remember why I hate that U-Mix-It game :(. What a joke.
The funny thing is you just know it's all frustrated Idol fans up doing this stupid thing at 11PM.

About collaborations, remember Katy Perry's first hits off her album had Snoop Dog and Kanye West. They got her play on urban, and urban-leaning pop stations that might otherwise have ignored her. At this point it is probably too late and too expensive to add a Nicki Minaj to anything on TP. But for me one of the disappointments of the album is that there were no collabs to help broaden its appeal. I totally agree with you. I actually think Adam is a rap/hiphop kind a guy. It's pop music and that is what he loves and where he wants to be. There have been many songs with the juxtaposition of melodic voice and raw rap. I love it. One of my favorite examples is Bruno Mars and Lil Wayne on "Mirror." I think there may be other reasons peeps don't want to appear alongside Adam, I don't think it has to do with his voice. But I won't/can't speculate what the reasons might be.

crazyforadamThank you for taking the time to reply to my question about Pandora. Based on the linked info you provided I am going to assume they do not have distribution rights to Adam's music. Cuts from Trespassing must be really expensive. I guess that means that Adam is not heard on the stations of the artists that appear on his, ie Gaga, Usher, Katie Perry, etc. But I know this is really not important for his career or exposure. Nobody listens to Pandora anyway. Right? Keep voting for that mainstream radio play........ luzrnaz, We have no knowledge how Pandora exactly works or certainly I do not. I just responded to your question, given that I had read that discussion about Pandora and found it interesting that there are more components to the whole picture than just what musically will fit with the seed song you start out with. Thought you should know. It is possible that the broadcasting/distribution rights to this song are not yet granted to them, but I have no knowledge of that and we should keep trying. Might be interesting to try with a song that is not presently the single or not even in contention, like with a bonus track (Runnin?) But streaming now strarts having more and more importance and we should definitely not ignore this. Don't want to mislead anyone, because as we all know, if it is written on the internet it must be true, right! ??? 2nd hand information on Pandora. 11 year old boy, friend of my son, was listening to Adam's whole album on Pandora the week after it was released. At least that's what he said when he heard the CD I was playing in the car.

In this morning's (6/21/12) printed copy of the WSJ there was an article on streaming services.
One info provided there: Pandora has 1 million songs on file. Spotify has 12 million.
Just FYI.
