I think this look (slacks wide leg with break at ankle and white shoes) and the EMA's (creepers and blue suit) are a nod to David Bowie in the era of "Let's Dance". The T shirt and varigated grey patch colors of the jacket pulls it into current modern.

Tracks of My Tears suit. Pants are loose but maybe not quite as baggy as Norton show. Love them both. I agree--throwback to the '50s with an edge.  |
