Yes, the whole bridge and end was cut out. It was still great though!! I hardly dare say this - but the song he sang WAS longer...it was cut out in the edit. I wouldn't have thought that possible but I'm very sure I remember a certain move he made, turning up stage, in the bridge. Anyway - we are the only ones who would notice or care.... The exposure will have been terrific - it can only be win, win. Really? That's interesting....of course only people familiar with how he usually performs it live would notice, but I found it kinda jarring. (and before anyone jumps all over me - it was fabulous, he sang it great and it was a major coup!! LOL! ) |

Sounding amazing! ;D He's taken it up to the same key as the studio version for some reason hmmm. I thought it sounded higher than previous performances. Surprising. I was surprised at how much higher it sounded also. |

I thought it sounded higher than previous performances. Surprising. I was surprised at how much higher it sounded also. It's not that much higher, he usually does it one key lower than the studio version live, here it was the same key as the studio version  |

So basically all Adam said was "yeah my album sure did go to #1 :D" ??? Well I had fun watching anyway. If you'd cut out all the awkward pauses will.i.am does they would have had time for Queen questions AND another Miriam story ;D I could have done without the last Miriam story and will.i.am's turn in the red chair for more Adam interview. :  |

I loved the show!! He looked good and sang great. It's only because of info from fans at the taping that we even knew there was talk about Queen. All the IMPORTANT album info was talked about. I'm not even a little bit disappointed, its all WIN for me ETA and I think I kind of like that the focus was on his music only JMHO Agree tinafea.. it's not "like" we're ungrateful or not happy that Adam didn't get a chance talking about Queen. But I guess because of info from fans the expectation was there. But like you said the most IMPORTANT information was talked about. and I love when Graham said the one of the most successful star from AI and off course the #1 album. |

So disappointed - he spoke so well on the Queen thing - so respectfully and lucidly. Also the sound in the studio was beautiful and wasn't quite the same here. The story that Miriam told about the masturbating soldier took three times as long unedited and you could sense that Adam was rather bored and mystified. I think they only included it because then it made sense to show Will retelling the story in the tipping chair... I suppose the real point is that Adam was there at all - huge exposure and he was great as always. Thanks for your perspective from someone who was there. |
