mys*&@^#r, I agree. I really love MAP. It is really a great song, and would have been a great first single. I don't know if I need to go to the "dark place" or whatever, to express my feelings. But I just feel so frustrated about the way RCA has handled this era especially when a song like MAP is buried. I don't think it was buried -- I think they kept a really good track for the UK because it is important to the overall strategy for Adam to do well in the UK.
JMHO, it's becoming quite obvious that in this era the U.K. is the strategic focal point. A great deal of coordination, planning and time, not to mention money, have gone into the UK campaign, and based on the promo thus far, the results seem promising. As for the U.S. roll-out, one word sums up for me---"odd". Logistic, timing, circumstances, or whatever else, but it is what is now, besides it'd only been a month since TSP released, I don't think after investing so much in this project, RCA would just sit back and let it slide.

Fan opinions for Trespassing single releases are all over the place - what else is new. Second guessing and Monday Morning Quarterbacking are par for the course in any fandom. heh. However, I appreciate RCA's great support of Adam this era. They are breaking him internationally as well, and their UK promotion is tremendous - couldn't ask for more, IMO. I think they see great possibilities in Adam and I appreciate that they are breaking him as a "new artist" - as that RCA honcho said. That international support tells me that RCA sees his potential as an international star and are acting on that premise. Or maybe I am just full of it. ;D So agree with your comments...I truly believe Adam is an international star. Being honored by Queen through his own merit, talent and hard work has established respect for him with TPTB.

I hope he becomes huge in the UK. I could totally get on board with stanning someone who is huge in the UK! ;D maddie, like your use of the word "odd" for the single rollouts! ;D
