The part about the "pants" that was so amazing was they were cross-cultural and language was no barrier. Around the world they shouted "I love you Adam" and they didn't speak English. The pants speak a universal language. So I suggest our diplomats wear the "pants" and maybe we can get something done on this planet, as in working together. Let's all wear the pants!

Here's another one jam2885 I just ran into Adam Lambert at Waldbaums. I was picking up some milkbones and he was perusing the aluminum foil.

Today my DH and I went to hear "The Gay Men's Chorus of Asheville",I really wondered why they used gay as part of their name, maybe it was a pride thing. They were wonderful singers by the way ,but I couldn't understand why they labeled themselves.Im so looking for the day when people are just people and just equal in every way. When all the talk about Adam being the first gay singer to be on a major label is something of the past.It will just be ,astounding artist becomes part of the RCA team.Sooner than later please universe.. As Gaga would say "Are you listening!!!!!!!"

Now, what was last night's discussion about when it really comes down to the "pants". And therefore, organic is "natural, authentic, a formal emotional communication" - in the most amazing pants displaying the GB. It really is so simple...... As long as organic doesn't mean plaid flannel of the boring variety, taking up acoustic guitar and accompany oneself, and doing entire concerts sitting on a stool in baggy, ripped denim. Oh, and wearing only organic, fair trade, unbleached cotton socks with non-leather shoes. The only organic thing I know about Adam is that he shops at Whole Foods. I want my Adam to be a bit more sparkly -- so hopefully it will be shiny, leather-bound, sparkly organic! The way Adam used the word "organic," my impression was that he meant songs based on true emotions from the heart and from his own experiences. I think he would consider "Broken Open" organic, at least lyrically. Of course, we're all just guessing here, but I'm pretty confident that nobody is going to be mistaking him for Kris Allen any time soon. For me, the most important thing he's said about his second album is that he wants the vocals to be more upfront. He can do any kind of song he wants, but first and foremost I want to hear that voice. I have always felt that the music should support the vocals and not compete with them.

As the subject was raised again I'll ask my question(s) - rhetorical I guess: 1) I thought he wanted to be part of the DANCEY music scene. Didn't he lament over and over that only the "ladies" were accepted in this genre? What happened to his desire to be the first(currently) theatrical male performer? 2) Why do you think he changed direction? And what male singer popular today would he be similar to if he went organic & REAL? As Q3 said I don't want any of that stool-sitting, plaid-wearing, acoustic-strumming shit. And don't anyone interpret this post as meaning I don't love every ittsy bitsy thing he has ever done and ever will do. Cause I do!

That flannel shirt picture has sort of been floating around in my head, but doesn't really seem likely. The picture that stays with me and I want to really see in the future looks more like the Fantasy Springs-Native American-in-Spirit organic Adam. I see tribal dances and wolves or maybe ''Dances with Wolves" and steampunk. Oh, I don't know. :
