buzzworthy.mtv.com/2012/06/26/adam-lambertdonna-summer-video/?xrs=share_twitterWatch Adam Lambert Wild Out During His Tribute To Donna Summer (VIDEO) Adam Lambert was put on planet Earth for two reasons. Well, a million reasons, but here are the two most important reasons for the purposes of this post: 1.) To put out albums like Trespassing, which trounce the competition and debut at #1, and, 2.) To slay a disco track. And that's precisely what he did when he covered the late Donna Summer's seminal disco song, "Hot Stuff."Donna passed away last month at the age of 63, and while all the musical tributes dedicated to her legacy have been beautiful and meaningful, if we had to pick a favorite, it'd be Adam Lambert's tribute to Donna Summer from the Alice Radio Summerthing in San Francisco. Maybe it's because he infused the song with utter furse-ness and electric guitars or because he totally slayed the vocals, but suffice it to say that Adam was born to sing "Hot Stuff." And that's not just because he is well, hot stuff. (Sorry, had to.) more

Smokey, Annala and FanoftheMan,
I appreciate you and all others who do all within your power to be the change you wish to see in the world. Annala, you will leave the kind of legacy with your granddaughters that will be felt through generations. Voices and actions that speak out against discrimination, whether loud or soft, big or small, sharp or gentle, all work together to bring about change.
Adam expresses this in his latest interview when he acknowledges that people's ideas change with respect to discrimination when they connect with commonalities and see others as not much different than they are themselves and that society needs to be challenged to change by being exposed to those differences in ways that make its members think differently.
As an agent for change, for those who can be reached, Adam's likeable personality connects and shows people he has the same feelings and dreams that they have; at the same time, his fierce creativity and artistic expression revels in being individualistic and unique and in making people think in different ways.
It is one reason I find him so compelling and am still here after three years of doing everything I can to support his music (and his finances, LOL.)

DancyGeorgia, thanks again for the great concert videos. I just watched the entire concert (with headphones as you suggested). I set it on auto play so it was just like being at the concert. I love that you kept in all the between-song chat. The only bad things was trying to get myself desensitized to the outfit ($ Tshirt and cutoffs--bleah).
