We have all remarked on how unique Adam is in that he can sing in so many different ways, and sound so different. I want to develop a playlist of Adam songs that demonstrates his remarkable ability to cross styles, genres, vocal tones, ranges and registers. Live, studio, old, new, rock, blues, opera, country, bootleg... wherever we can find examples. It will be fun, and also a great resource to refer to when we get a possible convert.
Please search through your playlists, your bookmarks, your old notes, and your memory, and post suggestions here in the masterclass thread, along with the YT or other reference. I'll start off with the most obvious:
And the most recent one that had folks arguing if it was Adam or not:

Might as well add the other classic musical theater performance.
Uploaded by theBestArts on Mar 20, 2009 Adam Lambert gives a brilliant performance of "Come to Me, Bend to Me" from "Brigadoon."
I don't know what genre this fits in, but it is one amazing piece of singing. For me ROF from GNT is the best version--but too short.
ETA: Huh-oh. The rabbit hole is looking pretty deep!

Adam Lambert- Quiet Desperation Uploaded by mannoftalent on Mar 12, 2009 Adam Lambert sings "Quiet Desperation" from the musical PUMP UP THE VOLUME.
Adam recorded this demo for us in the summer of 2006 as a part of our effort to acquire the rights to adapt the 1990 film PUMP UP THE VOLUME as a stage musical.
We are thrilled to have worked with Adam, and wish him the very best in his quest to be the next American Idol!!!

Early on, searching the net for Adam stuff, I found "Crawl Through Fire," from the Zodiac Show. To quote Kara, "My mouth dropped open!" This clip includes scenes of him before the performance - such a sweet boy... and then the transformation!

I want to know who has current ownership of that Skingraft jacket. That piece of work needs to be seen more than once. I am fully aware that it could never happen but wouldn't it be amazing if it showed up at the Queenbert concert. Fandom would go crazy and Freddie would have loved it.
