nope... ??? they are talking about the requests that were stipulated in the concert contract. They are saying that the organizer said this about Queen: "Their new frontman Adam Lambert is one of the most demanding stars. But since this is a charity concert and Queen has lost their frontman to AIDS they have reduced their demands".... no other meaning here... I think they misinterpreted what they've heard ...He probably asked for water and veggies... ;D Guys, I think they are talking about fees? I think what they mean is that Adam by himself is one of the highest paid stars to perform? And since it's a charity concert, Queen reduced their demanded fees, with Adam... noahlaurie, they're talking about rider list. Every perfomer/artist usually have a list what they want to have in their changing room, such as kind of food, drinks, flowers arrangement, phone lines, etc. The more popular they're the rider list can take pages and pages. For example, Madona is asking to have 25 international phone lines in her changing room and Elton John for this Kiev concert's asking for flower arrangement; then Queen wants to have a very quite changing room, no people coming asking for autograph and they want driver who drive slowly no speedy gonzales. That's what they're talking about. Adam is probably asking only for water and raw vegetables in his changing room; because early this year when he's doing his radio tour promo in europe he's complaining that he couldn't find green vegetables and brown rice. I don't think he's asking for special kind of brand for water either. During GNT tour, his band members were asking for alcohol, foods and snacks but not our Adam. ;D |

For those who haven't received their FAULT magazines yet -- I e-mailed the publisher, Nick Artsruni, and received this reply: We have no intention of refunding orders that have already been dispatched and are under no legal obligation to do so.
I'd like to reiterate my sincere apology that your copies have not reached you thus far. I hope that USPS do eventually get their act together and send you your products which were dispatched to you some time ago.
We have offered to supply replacements free of charge to customers who have yet to receive their copies on the basis that those customers cover postage costs for them, If you would like to arrange for this service at a later date, please let me know and I will organise this for you personally.So in other words ... no refunds, and tough shit unless you cough up another $10 on top of the $50 already paid. I think it's very generous that they are willing to replace the copy for just postage. How do they know you haven't actually received your copy and are trying to get another one for free? They can't possibly think that so many people living thousands of miles apart are in collusion to rip them off for multiple copies? It has been 5 weeks since they said the last ones were posted, I have received shipments from Germany and the UK in a week or less, so they can't blame international mail. The USPS website says shipments TO Poland should arrive in 6 to 10 days, I can't imagine it would take any longer coming FROM Poland (didn't they say the magazines were dispatched by a company in Poland?). If there were one or two missing, I would blame the postal service. But with dozens, maybe hundreds, missing, something more is at work here. |

Finally it's over! It took me twenty minutes every morning to put in my 500 votes. So glad it paid off for Adam! Now if that frikkin' Billboard poll would just end...hopefully with similar results! |
