Someone probably noted this already - I've missed a lot - the second half pants were the GNT laceups, right? Cause he had that foot on the speaker pose that was so unf Thought there was also a little Freddie homage in Adam's hair with the very close cut sides. But when he came out for second half, thought, oh perfect, he's homaging GNT. The shirt was definitely GNT-esque. And the pants sure looked like GNT lace-ups. Wearing items referencing his first ever tour while fronting Queen in front of hundreds of thousands of people was a lovely balance. Read every page of the Queen Board. Like doppleganger Idol world in a way. They got grumpies, and happies, and people who will not let Adam be fabulous, ever, and people who've come around and can't wait for the next shows. All online communities share some traits it seems - lots of people, lots of passion. And abbreviations. All the Queen songs abbreviated. And Adam is now "AL" to them. (other guest frontmen all refered to with initials too.) But they all sure noticed how much fun Brian and Roger were having. And for me, that was thrilling. That these legends seemed to just want to play. To make real music. Change things up. Make their songs fresh, alive, big, interesting. Not imitate themselves. Very exiting to see Adam making music with talents of that level. The level where he belongs. (But, of course, unlike some people at the Queen board, no, no, no to Adam career with Queen.) |
