Another quote from the Queen forum:"Well that looked and sounded pretty good to me (what's on the Tube anyway). Hats off I reckon. Adam Lambert did a great job. Great set list too. The band sounded in fine fettle and Brian May was outstanding. I would say that Lambert's youth and performance helped make the show not feel like a hoary old retread but feel fresh and alive.. and I did have many doubts but I think I've been proven wrong. Queen are doing some live gigs with an excellent singer- what's not to like? Jealous of the Hammersmith goers, that's for sure. " I have to say that this warms my heart. Look at Brian's expression when Adam sing SOMEBODY TO LOVE.. when he's going crazy at 7.20.. HE LOVES ADAM... ;D ;D ;D ;D One of my favorite parts of the whole show (Ya, I am weird!) But I am a Queen fan and this is the kind of stuff that's been missing, since Freddie! The theatrics!! And Brian and Roger are loving it!! I know.. I guess that's why Brian and Roger are so in love with Adam because they finally found a singer that can do their songs justice.. the voice, the stage presence and that theatrical .. almost like being with Freddie again.. but in different way. |
