I can't think of any queen songs that would overly challenge Adam from a range perspective, but I can see how some of the arrangements could be... It's not so much the range but rather some of the quirky stylistic things Freddie did and matching the intensity on the Innuendo-era recordings. A song like Killer Queen for example has those funny switches to falsetto "well-versed in etiquette" that are harder to pull off than they sound! Then you have a song like Innuendo that's all about the intensity and gritty vocal. Can't be sung in the same tone as say, WATC for example. Range-wise he'll be fine, the Queen songs that stray out of what sounds like Adam's comfort range (on the bottom end) aren't that popular anyway. The E♭5 at 2:56 is the highest note I've heard in a Queen single, the lowest would be A2's in I'm Going Slightly Mad. So he's just gonna have to really put out all the versatility he has technically and tonally, which we know he can do anyway from the GNT shows! So looking forward to watching the vids tomorrow  ETA: There's a G5 to A5 in falsetto on Under Pressure come to think of it. Wonder if he'll wail that à la Ring of Fire? ;D ETA 2: And if they don't do Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy I'll cry. That's one of my all-time favourite songs. Hoping for the Hitman too but not holding my breath! |

Can you please explain the Donald pliners colloquial phrase? Not familiar to me. For sure (IMO): We Will Rock You Another One Bite the Dust Maybe: Under Pressure (because of the nod to it at EMA) LMAO - Donald pliner is US shoe designer - amazing shoes that I own way too many pairs of :-) Thanks. Not colloquial at all. I'm just numb when it comes to fashion. Never heard of him. :D |

Has anyone seen/heard from skylar lately? and also Buderschnookie? I have been wondering the same thing. I sent them both a pm a couple weeks ago and neither was opened. I hope they don't miss all the fun! |
