Yeah. Sorry. I posted it and then decided that there was too much awesomeness tonight to tarnish it with any mention of a couple of places he was a little pitchy, dawg. But, since you caught the post before I deleted it, just a little warning to AToppers: IF there is any negative comment made about pitch by some reviewers or bloggers or naysayers, they are not making it up. But, don't let it harsh your mellow. All live performances have glitches; singers bobble a pitch, forget a word. Pianists hit the wrong key. Guitarists mess up the fingering on a run. Drummers miss a beat or drop a stick. That is the excitement of a live performance: it always has an element of risk, like walking a tight rope. Adam was marvelous! That's okay cassie, Q-fans form Q forum heard it too, but they only heard it on TSMGO and then he said Adam made it up by doing the high notes at the end of the song ;D ;D; and they thought Roger drum playing was a bit slower that it should be sometimes and it affected Adam (so they didn't blame Adam). I thought some of the harmony that Brian and Roger sang a bit off, especially on Dont Stop Me Know. But like those Q fans said, it's their first time so it will get better. Did anyone on the Q forum complain about overuse of vibrato? Because I remember a lot of the people commented on that on the EMA videos and therefore didn't think he was very good. This time I was really listening for it but honestly, I didn't hear any overuse of it. Most everything sounded great to me although sometimes his mic didn't seem loud enough.

That was the biggest surprise to me. I thought surely that he had gone shopping for something new. Honestly - I don't think he's had time to shop... But I think that Blond jacket is PERFECT for the Queen concert. It's campy but still classy.

"This is why Adam was brought in. Paul couldn't do stuff like KYA and DSMN. Adam can. This is brilliant!" OK... Don't Stop Me Now and what's the other one? KYA is Keep Yourself Alive, the second song he sang

Re-watching for a third time, I just got to TSMGO. In the opening verse there is a close-up of Roger playing the drums, and I swear, it looks like he is struggling to hold back the tears.
Makes me think. As much as this concert means to Adam, as much as it means to Adam's fans, how much must it mean to Brian and Roger. They lost Freddie twenty years ago. Since then, they have performed with many acclaimed singers. Good in their own right, but...... none came close to the voice or the showmanship of Freddie. They must have resigned themselves to the fact that the magic they created with Freddie was a thing of the past; a fond memory. As much as they love performing, it is in their DNA, do you think they always found something slightly flat or two dimensional about performances without Freddie?
Then, when they are in their sixties, past time to be rock gods, perhaps, they hear of this Idol kid and play with him. Some little switch clicks. Some little flicker of Freddie. Fast forward three years. The kid has grown, matured, is a powerhouse on stage, and they remember that flicker. Reach out to him for the EMAs. On stage, with only one rehearsal, the flicker turns into a flame. It just works! It has the power and majesty of those long ago performances.
Perhaps those heady days of ultimate rock concerts are not over? Dare we try it again? So they find themselves performing for a quarter of a million people. The flame turns into a bonfire with fireworks. That, in itself, is immensely satisfying.
But, in addition, as I said earlier, Adam is Freddie's legacy, his progeny, his next generation in some ways. I am sure Adam, Roger and Brian discussed Freddie's influence on Adam. I am also sure that they instinctively recognize that influence in Adam's performance. Finally! The Show CAN go on. Which means Freddie will live on. Just as Roger is now performing with his son, Brian and Roger are performing with Freddie's spiritual son, in a way. It must have been overwhelming for them. No wonder they are smiling. No wonder they are fighting back tears. No wonder they are berting.

OK... this might actually take a day or two... but do we have 1) individual youtubes for each song; 2) in the correct order; and 3) LABELED with each song name?? (instead of "song 1" or "song 7" etc)
Check what I posted on page 100, which includes this and also a listing of the songs further up the page. RT @dawnmyst Adam Lambert + Queen MP3s (trimmed nice) - Kiev - 06-30-2012 Folder :bit.ly/LYb5da Zip (200mb) : bit.ly/LYb5dn
I downloaded this. The first half of the songs have a noise in it..anyone else have issues with this dl?
