Everything's so wonderful so far. This is a dream Elton John set list. I hope the cameraman is on his game! I think Adam's going to give him more of a workout moving around the stage. Don't want to miss a moment. I notice Elton isn't wearing ear monitors and there are those speaker things on stage like we saw in the production photos earlier this week. Hopefully Adam won't need them either.

I am in the #1 most back-ass gas station in the most incredibly back-ass town in the entire U.S. of A. in order to get internet streaming because my father (I did not grow up with him) lives in a cabin in the booooondocks (turtle speed internet) of ultra-ultra conservative, bible-belt North Carolina (and yes, it is just that scary). My brother was seriously worried for me because I would be streaming this particular concert on my computer in this particular gas station. Said he'd send out friends to get me if I didn't return. Yesireee bringing light and the best music in the world to the dark places.

Just listening to Elton John, I think about what a back catalog of music he has to choose from--it's amazing. This seems to be oldies night, which is great since this is the music that I grew up listening to--I still have my copy of Yellow Brick Road on vinyl somewhere, too.
Adam is going to blow this crowd up -- Elton is a lot more sedate than Adam and Queen will be...hee-hee!
