We have several individuals who are musically/vocally trained and have been gracious enough to provide analysis of Adam’s voice, at the request of many members. They share nuances in the performances, differences in the notes, and yes, they do point out when he may have been off the mark. Other members love to analyze and compare information and they apply that to the music and performances. There have been several comments about the “nitpicking” related to Adams various pitch issues or missed notes or however you want to refer to them. I would hate to lose that expertise from Atop. On one had we ask and on the other hand we complain. If you don’t want to read about it scroll. If people are posting their opinions, that is exactly what they are, an opinion. Enjoy the performance for its sheer entertainment. It is live and notes can be missed. There was a You Tube of a soldier selected to sing the National Anthem at some event and on the final note his voice totally cracked and he sounded like a quacking duck. At least that has not happened to Adam. Please don't lecture fellow members, everyone is entitled to their opinion and I will point out there is an excellent Vocal Masterclass thread that was created for those types of discussions just as there is a numbers thread |

OK - NOT an ADAM vid so it may be sacrilegious  Some people were commenting on Brian's solo today (Last Horizon) so I thought they might be interested in this This is from 08 in the Ukraine with Paul Rodgers. The first 3 minutes is like the solo you previously heard. From about 3-7 minutes is Bijou (from Innuendo - probably my second fav solo from Brian) and the last part is the full band version of Last Horizon. BEAUTIFUL track. If you're interested, great! If not...um move along?  Oh thanks! I was going to look up your earlier post to figure out what album to look for the solo components on to buy them. I got interested in Queen after the EMAs and spent about 70$ downloading all the greatest hits albums and numerous singles that were discussed in the dream setlists for Adam shows on Queen Online and starting to get educated. I know quite a few Adam fans have been lurking there regularly since around the time of EMAs, but due to the atmosphere (not assisted by very OTT Adam fans who decloaked early on), I think many other Adam fans interested in Queen have figured not participating is the better part of valor. |

Adam seems to be getting better and better with these performances....love watching how he, Brian and Roger are tweaking and changing things up a bit.
Think the London shows are going to be spectacular!!
(oh...and I'm blissfully ignorant of pitch issues, lol!)
