I went over to the end of yesterday's thread to read Talon's great information on Queen history. Thank you for your perspective of the Adam/Queen collaboration. And, I thought Swarm's post at the end of the thread, also, had some very good points. Thank you. I love Atopia's diverse and informed community.  yup! Talon, one more question, from me. If this is the way the diehards feel Then how can they feel that Martel is a better choice? He won a contest, does not have the musical background Adam has, and is in a tribute band. :-/ IMO...Adam, like Freddie, is the 'whole package'....true entertainer and artist who lives and tells a story when singing the songs. Martel, IMO, just sings the songs with no true visceral connection. Again, just my opinion, maybe they feel that Adam is more of a threat to Freddie's legacy than Martel. |

But because he isn't really a viable option a handful of people will say he is a great choice. The day that actually happens there will be a segment of fanbase that will hate on him as well. I don't think much of it. If the diehards were so powerful they would have stopped B & R a long time ago. They are just noise to this casual fan. |
