I've really enjoyed this collaboration with Queen and don't feel it will affect his solo career in any negative ways. Many artists do a variety of collaborations on the side as well as develop their solo careers. The exposure is a great benefit along with the opportunity to witness a large tour on the move. He's performing music that he loves and appears to be having a great time. It will be interesting to watch how this exposure boosts his music career stateside. The only way it woould affect his solo career negatively, would be if it delays his own tour for too long. But with neither single taking off, I think he could wait for his solo tour. I don't think he should do a tour as big as the previus poster posted but a few big cities would be great and completely doable: NYC, LA, Sydney, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and something in S.America.

I'm usually a lurker who is here everyday just enjoying everyones thoughts. I just wanted to add how much that I have enjoyed these Queenbert concerts. I loved Queen when Freddie was alive but I think Adam has done an incredible job paying homage to Queen and Freddie with his interpretation of the songs. He seems to be having so much fun on stage and it is a joy to see Brian and Roger beaming with a renewal of energy. I see Adam winning over more and more fans which is thrilling.
I have always loved music and I have been enthralled by many but I never stanned anyone until Adam. When I watch him in these videos, I find myself smiling and feeling his joy. His aura entrapped me 3 years ago and I don't ever want to be freed from it.
I love that badass Dragon Attack jacket with his fierce attitude strutting down that catwalk. Fire breathing Dragon searing the runway captivating everyone in sight.
Thanks to all who bring us such joy with videos. Welcome to Talon and thanks for your input, Nationalglampoon iove you and your posts, AlekasandraKv your way with words is so touching, Soulemate you fill me with laughter, and Catzmadam thanks for the live feed.
Now that I have written a short novel and taken up so much space, I will go back to lurking.
Luv to all

It will be interesting to watch how this exposure boosts his music career stateside. I'm not a Queen expert, but they struggled in the US didn't they? I remember a documentary where Brain said they nosedived after the release of the video for I want to break free and never recovered. Unless a new generation has grown up appreciating Queen on a large scale, then I don't see the bump stateside, both in terms of immediate sales for Adam, or even having an impact outside of more credibility within the industry. However, that credibility may have some impact on PDs, I simply don't know enough. In countries where Queen was massively popular, like Australia, we're seeing a bump in Trespassing sales - it's 11pm here and the album is now up to No7 on itunes. It had disappeared a long time ago because of a lack of radio play and only started to re-appear after the Queen concerts - there is no other explanation for it, other than Queen fans checking out what Queen is up to and then checking out Adam. And they must be new fans, because the hard core ones bought the album ages ago, and it's the standard version that is selling, not the deluxe. Very non-glambert behaviour ;D. If the album is selling well, then the PDs might take notice here. I can only imagine that same reasoning playing out in the UK and Europe. Queen is HUGE and Iconic in the US, just as much as anywhere else. They only struggled with singles and radio play! Their albums have sold plenty here.

Interrupting the regular scheduled flailing to put out the list of Kiev DVDs (below). If I missed someone, please pm me. The list is in order of request and DVDs will be distributed in this order. If I don't yet have your address, I have noted that. Please pm me with address.
I ordered the shipping boxes last night. Once they arrive I will hit the post office with the first batch. Again, pms will be sent when yours is mailed.
Oh, and forgive the non-pristine jewel cases some of these DVDs will be in. I save cases when I toss cds/dvds so many of these have been used before.

I don't post as often as I should but I just wanted to share my thoughts about the concert in Wroclaw yesterday. Wow! What a concert! Adam was playful, gorgeous, sexy as hell and was clearly having so much fun. I loved the red jacket and hope we see more of it in London. His singing was superb and he really seems to be connecting with the lyrics of the songs. The audience was so varied; I looked around during the encores and it was so moving seeing everyone standing and cheering. We met a youngish Queen fan at the airport on the way home and she was really impressed by Adam and says she is now a fan. The icing of the cake during the weekend was meeting up with the awesome catzmadam, butterfly and vecadam.

Sound familiar? Actually most people I know who are in the @30-60 age group know Queen and love their music. So I agree that they were huge in the US.
