I just wanted to say as a lurker who have taken a very long break from this place - but has come back during these Queen concerts, because fast vids - that last night reminded me why I eventually gave this place up. This is not some classical concert where the artist have to be pitch-perfect. This is rock'n roll and Adam takes a lot risks vocally. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes he is less than succesful. I happen to think that STL last night was terrific. If you listen to the original Queen recording Freddie doesn't even hit the right pitch straight on in the studio-recording. He slides in on the pitch. Just wanted to say that all the nit-picking made it very little enjoyable for me to hang around here. JMO. Well, this thread is mostly just news and light fluffy stuff, oh, and tons of flailing, which I'm still trying to catch up from a week of absence. There's a "Vocal Masterclass" thread that is strictly focused on vocal analysis by our resident experts. So, please stick around and have fun with us!  |

Well, I only scrolled through yesterday's thread... I just wanna say this (as somebody who was actually at the Wrocław concert): HE WAS AMANZINGLY PERFECT.
Okay, going back to riding on my bike of bliss 8-)
