I've just spent a chunk of my evening gifting as part of the Request Adam NCOE group. They give you the money and the email addresses and off you go. I really enjoyed myself, it's a bit like voting but with a more immediate payoff. Anyway that's my good deed for the day, I might even go back and do it again tomorrow! No point to this post, I just feel good about the whole fandoms generosity at this moment.   ETA: And to all the AToppers that are gifting and donating! |

I have gifted myself. I send the gift to a different email addres than the one I use for my iTunes. I get the download link in that address and then download to my normal iTunes. I have been charged for the gifted songs once I have downloaded. I have done that to send the singles to people living in other countries. I sent them their copies and the sales do not suffer. Yes, I did that for the US DLs back in January and April. I have 2 e-mail accounts I use for things like Facebook and twitter and gifted myself. It worked. Yes you can do it in your own country, however if the only currency you have in the UK is an itunes gift card, you can't gift anyone, including yourself using that currency. |

Hi all...newbie here and decided to post for the first time. I love this site, so much information and pictures. It has been a great week - what a kick-ass singer/performer Adam is! I've been an Adam fan from the get-go but I also live in a very conservative area where there is much negativity about him and it is tough going. So cool to hear from like minded people who are fans and celebrate his success together.  Glad you decided to join the par-tay!! Please keep posting!  |

maybe people who want to be gifted from ATOP but aren't on twitter can PM justgill here with their UK itunes email addy? Saves a step Looking at my account it seems I've done 16, but some show [redeemed] against them but only the first batch. Is anyone ready for any more ? I've redeemed all of mine (after deleting and emptying recycle bin) so yes, I'm ready. Just need to make sure this is working. |

I was gifted with several downloads on my UK account, but forgot about deleting them from the music folder-I just deleted the "Gift from" and "Purchased". All of them went through as far as I could tell. Does it still count?
