Fuck it - I am just going to go ahead and say it! While I agree that some of the reviewers have fact issues, there are some I-have-to-post-everywhere folks seriously need to get a grip. First comment on the above review: "Again... check your facts and actually learn something about contemporary music, before you write your drivel. ... You, on the other hand, are a paltry pathetic music critic." Who the hell will want to continue to cover Adam when they write even a decent review and are immediately attacked? Just boggles my mind. |

Wow, it seems his pr and management people are doing their jobs! This rumor comes out right in time for his big Trespassing release in the UK and right before the UK Queen gigs--so both of these things get highlighted in the AI stories. The fact that he did not shoot it down automatically will also be noticed! The more awareness of Adam there is, the more he will sell. This is all good, I think! Yes, I agree. And I love that he is open to the world of possibilities. He is our "balls of steel" man and I love him for it. Every day is new excitement and challenges for us to think about. Go Adam Baby!   |

FINALLY! I created my UK account. Such a non techie. Now that I have it, what do I do?????? (sorry tinafea - could not find the thread you put this on) , please send your UK iTunes email address to RequestAdam@aol.com and they will gift you the single. Once you get it (check your spam folder for the link just in case), download it so that it counts towards sales. If you want to, you can then delete the single from iTunes (and empty your trash) and ask to be gifted again. |

Adam saying he would jump on a chance to judge on AI I have no idea what the right move would be career-wise if AI judging was offered, but selfishly I would love to see him on tv every week. He would be the first judge with extensive vocal training. All judges have been worthless in this category. Remember how specific Adam's critiques were as guest judge? Our boy knows what he's talking about! It would at least put Adam in the driver's seat regarding visibility. Better than schlepping around doing radio PR  I agree but it seems they would be in the market for a female judge. Don't want to be a daisy downer but I think a 3 person all male panel is unlikely unless Tyler is also leaving. |

Just got back to our hotel after a morning looking for Trespassing here in London.
Left our hotel early to make sure we are at harrods when it opened. First in the door and rushed to the third floor. Whaaaat? No HMV here? Seems like they left a few months ago and have not bothered to update their website. So back on the tube to go to Victoria Station where there is a store listed. Only 2 CDs left. Guy told me they did not have that many because Adam is not well known. An American guy was here earlier and bought 5.
To the tube again to go to Oxford Circle. The store is much bigger and they had 30. Bought a few more for Atopers so those who ordered are covered. The salesclerk have heard of Adam but said he is not well known here. Told him just wait and he will soon be when peeps get a load of him. Advised him to tell their manager to order some more as there will be a lot of people looking for it.
Mission accomplished but my legs are giving out from going up and down the tube and running around the city looking for Trespassing. Oh what we do for love!

I just don't think Adam's needs to be associated with AI on an every week basis again. A guest appearance when he's releasing a new single would be great. I really like to think he's moved beyond AI in his career now. And I'm really getting to the point where I'm not going to worry about radio. I'm ready to say F*uck you radio. Adam worked so hard going to these radio stations...gave them acoustic concerts and listened to their bullsh*t so if they don't play him because some schmuck doing their programing won't add Adam....then I'm ready to say the hell with them. Adam is a superstar and is known and appreciated in a lot of countries and is respected by his peers in the industry. Hopefully radio will come around. LOL! I sound a little grouchy....guess I'm just really tired. Nite! I'm on both sides of the fence with this; BUT Jlo and Tyler had pretty respectable careers too (probs more in super star status then Adam). Their careers have only escalated with the TV exposure. As much as we may not agree, since IDOL Jlo and Tyler have done really, really well......and look at the money they receive for sitting there. Lastly, Professor Lambert knows his music, seems to like to share his knowledge AND we'd get to SEE him EVERY WEEK on TV. |
