My take on this: YOU BROKE IT, YOU FIX IT! Adam broke AI 3 years ago, it is time to go back and fix the mess ;D

Thx, lifetraveler. Will see if TRESPASSING can organically get up there 8-) As for gifting NCOE, hope the gifters are all gifting from the same NCOE (single version?). Will make it chart faster.

You don't want my vote on it because I don't agree AI would be a good thing. I can understand those who really want Adam to distance himself from Idol...he's tried that. But, do you understand he's literally dying over here in the US? That's pretty depressing to those of us who spent months voting our fingers to the bone while he was on Idol and have requested like crazy to get him on the radio. The concert dates he has scheduled later this summer in the US are not selling anywhere near what he sold a few years ago. He's gotta do something over here in the US to make an impact cause so far, nothing else has worked. I for one don't want to see him have to abandon his own country for the overseas market. But unless his label literally paid off radio to play him, there doesn't seem to be a lot of options for him here. ETA: I see Nigel Lythgoe is gonna be on TV. He may completely debunk this rumor, who knows?

People Magazine's web site is running a poll on Adam. It is a defacto poll on what the viewers think of Adam. Not a poll on whether or not fans think it's a good career move. There are only 2 options on the poll ___ Yes. He's perfect for the job ___ No. They can find someone better There is likely no one on this forum who would like the idea of "someone better than Adam" to appear to viewers of People as a winning concept. Because if "No" wins, the idea that Adam isn't good enough wins. Your thoughts about career and future are not in the poll. The poll is about "is Adam good enough". Those are the PR facts. Which is probably why the poll is being spammed against Adam. Just consider helping spam so that Adam wins the poll. It's not going to matter at all about his actually becoming an AI judge. But it is going to look not so Buzz-Worthy if he loses because haters want to see him go down. The poll appears to be being spammed against Adam, right now. So consider if you'd like Adam to be a winner. The poll is asking is he good enough. Even if you don't want him to be a judge, it is likely you believe he is way more than good enough. Here's the poll: goo.gl/btFEi

94.7 Fresh FM @947freshfm 5 reasons why @adamlambert should be hired as an @americanidol judge. buff.ly/PHwooKWhile we’re not sure if the rumors about Adam Lambert being in talks to become a judge on American Idol are true, or who he’d replace, we think he should be considered. Here are five reasons why. 1. A former contestant judging artists is a good thing Who better to inspire and give advice to than a former Idol contestant? Adam made it to the No. 2 spot on the eighth season of American Idol and has since seen much success. He knows the ins and outs of the show and understands the process better than any of the other judges do, so he could offer a breath of fresh air on the kind of direction and tips we get from judges to contestants. 2. Rolling Stone names Trespassing one of the best albums of 2012 Adam knows how to deliver a standout album and can only teach the contestants to do the same. Hailed as “the great pop album everybody was hoping Adam Lambert would make,” the former Rolling Stone cover boy has made his way into the hearts of many music lovers. He can teach other musicians to do the same. 3. Invigorate the American public With American Idol taking a ratings slump and struggling with fierce competition from The Voice, the show needs Adam to diversify and help bring life to the upcoming season. Phillip Phillips is an awful lot like Kris Allen, the Idol finalist who beat Adam out on the show — although Lambert has gone on to see greater success. The samey-samey finalists could surely use a push in the Glambert direction. 4. Show up-and-coming artists how to gain press To make it in the music industry these days it takes a lot more than talent. Sometimes a little controversy is needed. Remember his mouth-dropping 2009 American Music Awards performance, where Adam kissed a boy (and he liked it)? He had everyone talking for days. And, in this industry, any press is good press. 5. Compete with Steven Tyler’s eclectic fashion taste Whether it’s feathers in his hair, exotic jewelry or eye-grabbing shirts, it would be interesting to see whose fashion HeWhoCannot ameds whose on a weekly basis. - Annie Reuter CBS Local
