Shoshonna looks tired too. She has bags under her eyes. Adam is smart, he's covering his eyes. The time change, jet lag, the travel from one point to another and then performing, and being on for everybody is totally and utterly exhausting. QAL will be a walk in the park for him, and private jets with great accomodations.

Adam will continue to build his live audience draw regardless of what happens with radio and the charts. He has already established that he can draw live audiences. I have no doubt that he will always be able to tour the only question will be venue sizes. IMHO and going by what Adam has said the decision not to tour Trespassing in the US wasn't that he COULDN'T but more that he would not have been able to do the kind of tour he wanted to AND since we now know that he was being asked to consider the covers album, he knew it was possible he would be leaving the label and it did not make good business sense to tour and promote an album that the label was not supporting. What did make good business sense was dipping his toes in other waters, like the GLEE acting slot and then the Queen tour which gave him the financial support to take his time to figure out where he wanted to go musically and to find a new label home. Artist can build solid touring audiences best by being smart about venue sizes. Always playing venues that you KNOW you can sell out or close to it building a reputation for being the hard to get ticket. Always slightly underserving demand builds demand higher. U2 built their career on live touring. Hits came MUCH later. They didn't have a Hot 100 song in the US until their 4th album, but they toured consistently starting with the first album. They built a reputation for always putting on an amazing live show. By the time the hits came they were already graduating to arenas and the hits vaulted them in to stadiums. Adam's reputation for always blowing away the live audience will continue to increase and as long as they are smart about booking his rep with promoters will continue to build. Always the voice of reason.

Mellimom, I think, that Japan is an not as hot a market as Adam and his mgmt. team would like, and it is what the promoter is willing to do to make some money. Adam is doing okay in Japan, and these concerts will keep his name in the spot-light. It's all good.
It could be conceivable by then that ALN will be a big hit, and these concerts does provide for some promotion in Japan. He is not stadium ready in his own career, but he is a stadium singer. We have witnessed the Adam Lambert effect.
I get really melancholy over the fact that there are less talented singers who have great success, looking at you Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry...but they have catered to a certain demograph with great success. It just goes to show, you can have the greatest voice with the most talent, yet major success is hiding somewhere. Not that Adam doesn't have the success, he does, but not superstardom which he deserves. IMHO.
To tell you the truth, while Adam was wonderful at Fusion, Capital better play him as payback. This was not the greatest exposure to the masses, in as much it was a radio event and there was weather issues.
If there is payoff for this event with radio play, then I'm happy for Adam. Otherwise what the hey. The volleyball event was by far, superior. . I don't want to always appear negative, but I am just giving my point of view realistically. Ghosttown is getting a lot of success and exposure...but I secretly wish it were more.

www.yahoo.com/music/nicki-minaj-makes-up-with-taylor-at-vmas-but-127995087406.htmlWow, what a lot of horse manure. Between Kanye's rantings, Nicki Minaj's disses you wonder what has happened to courtesy, manners and proper behavior. This wasn't staged for ratings, Miley was visibly upset and caught off-guard. Can you tell I totally dislike Minaj. Adam outshines them all in terms of honor, respect, character, kindness, and most of all not embarrassing himself, and feeling entitled. This generation sucks. The millenials suck!!!!
