Gelly"Just look at this picture and tell me that you're NOT skeeerd. I AM. And I bet Sauli was skeeerd too. And I can totally understand him. Press in Finland would NO WAY look like this crazy shit"
Remember when the paps chased him in the parking garage
and this one is scary

I haven't listened to the interview, yet, where Sauli talks about the Idol finale but I am getting the impression he talked about when he left the audience. This is what I saw happen. After the first number of the finale when they went to the first commercial, Lane came out fom backstage and got Sauli. Sauli left with her, but Adam stayed in the audience. When the show came back from the break, Sauli was still gone. He came back after the next break, so there was just that one little section of the show when he was missing. I'd say it was less than 10 minutes. ETA: Oh, I just read the interview! How sweet! Lane knew Sauli was hungry and took him backstage for food! Poor bb!! As I understood from this interview, he was so nervous (I mean it was really a BIG deal if they talked with Adam about walking on the red carpet together) that he probably hadn't eaten anything all day! didn't Adam once say he used to be nervous when walking the Red Carpet because of all the paps coming at him and all of the questions?

Let's face it... We know nothing LOL 'By the way, I have probably learned more on this site and PF in the last 2 years than I learned in 4 years of college. I've had a few people say, "How do you know that?" Sometimes I answer, sometimes not. same here. when someone asks how I know certain things, I say "I read it"..which I did, but I don't say from where

I don't know if they are illegal or not (Since most are drawings, I doubt it) but they sure are good! Wish Adam's merchandise people would take a look at some of these things! I can see at least 3 shirts I would buy and wear. Love the lock one and the rabbit hole one. I would like one with the key..maybe she'll make one sometime..I would buy it

completely illegal. and that person really has a lot of nerve to chastise adam when he talked about the teen pregnancy show while she is making money off his back. she's been doing it since the idol tour and has made plenty. Ahh, you know who I mean

I only see two images of Adam and they are both drawings..the sleepwalker one and the one with him on the floor..she also provides a link to the offical site to buy merch. I don't know if this is legal..anyone? It is a really complex area of law. Here is a good summary of the situation. But my take is that it is not a black and white area of the law. www.citmedialaw.org/legal-guide/using-name-or-likeness-anotherTo me, this seems like original artwork that incorporates Adam's image and I could make a first amendment argument that supports it. To me it comes down to 2 questions for Adam: 1. Even if it was illegal, if Adam sued to stop this particular case what would he gain? I think he would just get a lot of bad press and a few angry fans. 2. What about all the fansites and YouTube videos etc that use his image? Most of the avatars on this site use his image. Just because it is non-commercial does not make use of protected material legal Anyway, sometimes it is not about legal/illegal, it is about right and wrong. This doesn't seem like a crass attempt to cash in on Adam, it seems more like a fan's effort to promote him. JMHO YMMV. Q3, what about people who sell homemade DVD's on twitter for $10.00 or more... using You Tube videos made by someone else..is it legal to use the vids belonging to others Q3 comment: I am not an attorney -- or an IP expert but this is copyright infringement, and in the US, Canada, UK, and many other countries has huge fines and/or prison terms associated with it. In many countries there is a special law against piracy. So if the material is copyrighted (and it all is) and the person does not have release to redistribute very, very illegal. BUT BUYING IT IS ALSO PUNISHABLE. A few artists -- most famously Fish and the Grateful Dead -- actually allow people to redistribute material from live performance. But this is rare. The copyright on compositions, performances, etc. is very clear -- this is not a gray area like a photograph of a famous person. The photograph is usually owned by the photographer. This does not apply to video of a concert performance -- different rights issues.

Is this official merch? I see some shirts with pics of him on it and isn't it like, illegal, to sell merchandise with the person's image on it? I only see two images of Adam and they are both drawings..the sleepwalker one and the one with him on the floor..she also provides a link to the offical site to buy merch. I don't know if this is legal..anyone?
