I have been going through my pictures from last year and I found some unpublished pictures of Adam singing at the 538 Live XXL Event in Amsterdam last October. First one, signalling to the sound guy Then with the giant microphone that was part of the decor and some perfect perfect hair Can't wait to have him in front of my camera again!!

Did you let on that you knew who he was? Was there eye contact? I briefly talked to him in the TSA line, "I don't want to blow your cover, since no one is recognizing you, but I would kill myself later if i did not tell you i think you are an amazing person and singer!" He replied with his famous, "Awwwwwww, Thank you!" On the plane, no. Just kept my sunglasses on so i could look at him freely without being tagged as a cray! (Of course, maybe keeping sunglasses on a 90 minute flight tagged me as cray anyway!) Oh, well done! Well done! When I saw Adam unexpectedly (well, not quite as spectacular as your story, he walked past me in a hotel lobby) my mind just went ' oh oh oh it's Adam! Oh! Adam! Adam! It is! There! Right there! AdaM! Oh! And so on until he disappeared again. Lol! Good for you for actually going up to him, without blowing his cover and just saying what you did. Well deserved that you could look at him for 90 minutes afterwards. If only that plane had been en route to Dubai, right?

Oh, that is so fucking cute..... Soz, I may have gone overboard on the wubbin'....... Cute Adam with a cute dog and a cute drawing about that happening? Can't go overboard on that! Wub away! (I did take out some of your wubs, because my iPad crashes if there are too many gifs on one page... Sorry) And wubbin', that's a new word in my english vocabulary, thankyou! But what is it? The first google hit I get with a gif for wubbing is this one

This will likely quickly get buried but given last thread discussion about Gagas performance I wanted to post as a point for continuing discussion... I'm currently reading the altogether sublime "The Art of Asking" by Amanda Palmer - this passage just jumped out at me: "There's a difference between wanting to be looked at and wanting to be seen. When you are looked at, your eyes can stay blissfully closed. You suck energy, you steal the spotlight. When you are seen, your eyes must be open, as you are seeing and recognizing your witness. You accept energy and you generate energy. You create light. One is exhibitionism, the other is connection..."
Gaga has always struck me as someone who wants to be looked at. David Bowie wanted to be seen. And I think Adam also wants to be seen. Ah... that is a good description of an interesting concept. I don't know about Gaga fitting in one or another category, I really like her. But she often seems to close off the biggest part of herself, just showcasing what she wants the world to see or burying herself under special effects, lights, colors, dancers, costumes. I understand that (hey, I do the same, although not on stage). Sometimes little glimmers of what could be shine through, mostly when she is sitting at the piano singing, stripped back. That is when she gives me goosebumps. I think the thing that makes Adam so unique is that he gives so much of himself on stage. He connects. He puts himself out there. He makes people feel. And he gets the love of the audience in return. I can never get enough of the roar of the audience in some vids. Can't wait to be part of that again!!

I am quite ignorant in things like this. Can you enlighten me? What is the significance of performing at the pre-Grammy gala? I mean YESSS Adam performing! And YESSS! Many industry people present there! And YESSS! Many pictures and news cycle! But could he get opportunities out of this? And is this a big thing? Obviously singing at the Grammy gala gives him a bigger exposure to the general public, but just wondering whether this might work for him in other ways? Except for the fact that it is just way cool to have him out there, of course. The pre-Grammy gala won't make a difference toward the general public, at least not directly, but I'm sure that Adam made some not insignificant connections and likely impressed with more than his singing talent. He looked smashing and we know how charming he can be. Yes! So win win win! Thank y'all that explained a bit more about this event today, linking articles etc. This performance was a BIG thing!

HoustonAndy @houstonandy 22m22 minutes ago @adamlambert POP THAT LOCK has hit the Line Dancing circuit "very big", my line dancing friend tells me. More Glamberts in the making!
For some reason I find this very funny. Wasn't there a possible explanation for the lyrics of Pop that Lock relating to a man losing his anal virginity? Don't know if that is true, but I do know that with Adam it could well be within the layers of the layers of meaning. And if true isn't it a very very funny idea that all those people are linedancing to that song? (Or am I just weird? Which is very possible!)
