![](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/OLA.gif) Adam is all over the place in The Netherlands, and not only on radio 538, but also on Q! What a great way to start the weekend. and with 25 weeks, will Gt be in the top 100 of 2015 domyou think? I am loving this so much!! Every once in a while I have to check whether it is the same Adam that they are talking about. For years I have been patiently explaining who he was and now one of the national radio stations dedicates a weekend to him. And ALN on its way to take off in the USA! Can't get better than this!!!

Oh ohhhh... Downloaded the stems, installed audacity and it seems that I am going to learn yet another skill because of Adam. It is absolutely AMAZING to be able to scroll back and forth, zoomed in to the max on these tracks. Isolate every vocal track, the bass, special effects, rhythms, everything. Never knew how much of a pleasure it would be to unravel the exact composition of a song. Now I would really really really like the stems of Ghost Town. I don't suppose there is a secret place on the web that has these lying around, right? I think that the guy (or girl?) who made the Logan mashups didn't need to have the original Ghost Town stems. He combined the instrumental stem of one song with the acapella stem of another. As far as I understand it is quite possible to isolate those from the original song. I know right! It's really fun just to mute and isolate all 19 stems in the song, and in different combinations, ALN sounds different. I now understand what remixers have so much fun doing what they do! Sadly, the Internet does not have GT's stems, but if you could hack into Warner Music's databases, it would be there yknow! Along with the stems of every song on the album ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) But here are some stems of other songs I've found online, someone compiled it all into two MEGA folders. There's some Queen stems here as well: (1: A to M) MEGA A-M FOLDER HERE(2: N to Z) MEGA N-Z FOLDER HEREActually, I'm pretty sure Logan (the mashup artist) needed the stem for the whistle. In the instrumental for GT, there is no part where the whistle is not accompanied by the house beat. This means that if he had used the instrumental, he would have had to add both the whistle and the house beat. But this was not the case, because in his mashup, he only added the whistle, and not the house beat. Hence I concluded that he had to have the GT whistle stem, which Warner Bros probably gave him (so that he could use it for his mashup, which would end up being used as promo for GT because Beliebers would've heard it + it did get featured on a few press sites. And it explains why Adam only responded to that one mashup). Ah thank you! Now off to google "how to hack into Warner Music's database" Hope my fellow techies at work won't find out. Or.... maybe they could help ![GrinSmiliey](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/grin.png)

Mods, is it maybe possible to get some meetup threads for the European events? TOH tour and QAL dates? I am seriously getting confused about who is going where. ![](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Chapf%20smileys/dizzy.gif) ![http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m37gmxByRH1r9rjs4.gif](http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m37gmxByRH1r9rjs4.gif)

Hi, Not sure if I'm posting in the right part of the forum for this so my apologies in advance if this isn't supposed to be in this part! I'm new to the fandom and was wondering if Glamberts do concert meet ups when Adam tours? I don't know any other Adam fans here in the UK and I would love to see him sing live but don't feel comfortable going alone to a show! It would be awesome if someone could please point me in the right direction with this if there's a Glambert meet up group for the London show in 2016. Thanks, RainbowPixieRat Hey rainbowpixierat! ![](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/welcome.gif) Most of the daily party is going on in the 'Daily news and info' thread with is a new thread for every new day. Come and say 'hi' there! You will surely find people to join you in London

After the being silly part is over, from 1:55 Adam talks about the lyrics of Soaked. Worth listening to again!

Thank you! That is two! More to come, I hope. Still looking a little bit at Sweden, since although it is terribly inconvenient, it is on my birthday. And what better way to spend it than to be at a QAL show?

I need to ask something of all of you. You see, a few days ago, Adam performed the LITV acoustic set, and everyone started going on and on about how great The Light was. But here's what I ask of you. This following video contains both performances of The Light and ALN. Now sit in a quiet room, take a minute to think about the things that have upset you, or the moments that you've felt lonely. Now, put on your earphones or headphones or turn up your speakers and play this video starting at 4:34. That is, I'm asking you to skip The Light entirely and focus on ALN. For me, the acoustic ALN did something for me that the original couldn't do, and that is it got me emotional. I think it gave a more direct representation of what the lyrics were saying and that's what got to me. I'll love to here what you guys feel when you just immerse yourself into ALN stripped down to instruments. ht tps://youtu.be/JrOkdBAyJ3Q?t=4m34s Ghost, such a great question!! I did what you asked and really listened. And yes! The story that is ALN is so much clearer when it is stripped down. I get distracted by the production and background singing in the original. My feeling is that with Ghost Town the 'dance away the blues' vibe works. It doesn't work for me on ALN. Because the lyrics are sad, and the upbeat music doesn't make it better. For me it is just trying to mask what is underneath and it doesn't help. Stripped down, the song is much more honest. The beautiful thing in this (which is also present in the music video) is that it doesn't become an all out 'poor lonesome me' lament. To me it is wistful, melancholic, but not depressing. Yes, we have lonely nights, and yes, that is a sad thing. But it is okay too, it is just part of what life is.
