I really thought they would all be there to support Tyler. My first thought was Adam would not attend because he knows it would draw lots of attention from media and the audience. Yes, Brian and Roger are famous, too, but they are not "cool kids" like Adam. We also know that Adam is also usually on self imposed vocal rest and it's hard to not talk in social situations especially if you have to exert yourself to be heard in a noisy situation.

Whenever I hear someone say that Adam should be filling arenas on his own, my heart twitches a bit. It is a total mystery why he doesn't fill larger venues. Don't get me wrong, I love his solo show at whatever size. But a guy with that voice and those looks and that personality should fill venues larger than he does. It's a conundrum wrapped in an enigma. I think Adam solo should be filling arenas as well but it is not a mystery to me why he does not. He never got the massive radio play and exposure that current arena acts enjoyed. Radio play, award nominations/performances, label support also play a part in who gets on the big streaming playlists. And unfortunately for Adam, they were more accepting of promoting younger LGBT artists when his time had sorta passed for pop. He was already almost 30 when he came on the pop scene. And he/label put out his 2nd album 3 years later as he was getting older (and pop artists younger) and got hardly any radio play. I don't think artists need radio play always to play arenas. But those who got massive play on multiple charts in the beginning, for several years, were able to hold their audience and move to larger venues. Having said that, I am so thankful the QAL gave Adam the arena/stadium joy to go along with his solo career. One of the questions Paula asked on Idol was why hadn't he already been discovered. Back then I said it was because he had never been on a big enough stage. Little piano bar songs weren't going to push him to the top. Now it's how could he could possibly find a bigger stage than with Queen? For his solo career I think the "solo" is a problem. Women tend to do ok with solo acts but men are mostly bigger as part of a band. I think his natural inclination is a bit toward being in a band but Idol puts out solo artists. For him of course going solo means he can do Queen. The stars were just aligned for the collaboration.

One of our local Dem districts will be holding a monthly get together at one of our clubs so I don't think they are theme night all the time.

I love the shot from above their stage. Really a different perspective showing the positions of the Neil, & Tyler, & Spike as well as all the many many stairs.

One of my favorite early performances of Adam. If he had done this sexy rockstar performance on the AMA's instead of that convoluted routine that didn't work, I wonder if it would have helped him win that Grammy and earn better early favor in the US? Oh well, thankfully his talent and charisma carried him far anyway. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsQBZFWJT6sI remember the analysis of what he wore and how he acted here. The shoulder piece positioning combined with him wearing spats had significance. That piece was worn by someone on stage during the AMA performance (don't remember who) and someone found a reference to that positioning that may have been a reference to the AMA performance. I wish I remembered more. Maybe it's in the thread here for when the performance originally happened. Would Adamtopia go back that far or was that in the Planet Fierce days? That flower thing maybe represented a chip on his shoulder or that the AMA stuff was like a bird pooped on him but he wasn't going to let that get him down? Loved the teary eye on his eye liner. And best of all was a suit that fit - how he went away from that to years of suits where the jacket hit in all the wrong spots is unknown. Loved the spats too - throw back to Gene Kelly or those were the days.

Houston Astros ⚾️ MLB playoff 2023 Well, this is cool. But I wonder how many people know it is Adam singing............. Still not sure of the overlap between the baseball crowd and the tictok crowd. Wonder what the Venn diagram looks like.

I was such a naive and wide-eyed fangirl when Adam was on Idol. I was smitten from the first moment I saw him. I have to admit that up to the very last second, I thought he would win. I couldn't imagine otherwise. And then the winner was announced and he gave Kris that big hug. Kris looked gob-smacked. I don't think he thought he would win. And in the hours (and days) after that finale, the media was largely covering Adam. He did so many interviews and was the one glowing in the limelight. He behaved like the pro he was even then. And he answered endless questions about being gay without losing his cool. You'll hear Kris say "but Adam deserves this".

Quick shot of Adam at about 45 seconds.

I think the 2nd picture is interesting styling. If you look at the lower part of it off to the right it looks like a rifle but as you scan up then you can see it's a satchel so not traditional cowboy. The earrings look right but no polish on fingernails.

I don't think there was nearly enough discussion regarding these photos or drawings a few days ago so reposting. Are they still to be found on his social media?
