I think someone asked the other night who he was and he is with Sirius so someone who should know music. He posts a lot about sports though. Anyway he's pretty impressed with the Glambert love. I think he replied to everyone that posted on his original link that he was going to the event and then some.

Without widespread exposure to the songs, does the continuation in the videos mean anything to non fans or casual viewers who see the video? And has Adam said how long he will stick with the same theme or is this for every release? I do like it better than the NE video but not as much as some of his others. Gives the blogs/reviewers something to talk about. If readers click on one they are more likely to look for the companion vids because of the specific insinuation that there is more to see. Now back to plot. He comes in very jaded, a bit full of himself, look at my fancy car, I'm somebody, I'm hot, why isn't anybody into me? The goddess comes and resets the clock and he goes back in time, has new conversations with Raja etc, perhaps has been given new eyes, and he changes, no longer detached, no longer jaded, instead of projecting I'm too cool for this scene, he starts projecting authenticity, ditches the coat, ditches the attitude, likes himself, is part of the scene instead of "look at me". After the goddess he sings"comin in" but doesn't sing "hot". Now part of this thinking for me was wondering if Javi would show up in part 3. The first part of the vid says no, no instant attraction back or connection even though he keeps giving sugar daddy vibes. So I was wondering if they both wind up with others. But after the goddess resets the clock and he changes to "nice" (need a different word) and then the possibility of them winding up together in #3 is much higher.

I gotta say this haircut on Adam is spectacular....love love love.... Am I the only one who cannot find Commin in Hot on spotify...lots of the same name but not Adam's! :( Seems it took a bit of time to get New Eyes on Spotify also....or did it? Well you can't spell it like that with 2 ms. It pops right up for me on a search, right at the top. If you play NE, click on Adam's name it shows up under his Singles and EPs for me also. But if neither works yes NE was slow outside of the US. Remember when they had to do rolling releases like 8am in each time zone? I think that's still a bit how spotify works but it's more by country and less by time zones as Canada was way late with NE if I remember correctly.

Now I need the lyrics. It's a hot tune. I am gonna have to get used to the layered lazy sexy vocals which has replaced his normally crisp clear enunciation. I'm working on it....lol I didn't have any problems with this one but the weird effects over his vocals add to the wispiness and that jars me a bit. I however still don't know what the first three words on NE are, lol.

So for Adam radio talk shows don't do much even if they play the song once. I'm looking at the Australian iTunes charts. He was down there for a week and I can't see that it made a blip on the iTunes charts. However, play it on the TV and boop, boop, boop three songs are in the Top 100 with New Eyes making top 5 the first day and with WWFM and GT both on the chart for two days also. Yes! I remember we were not totally sure he would be appearing and I was live streaming it sitting front of my old computer. It started in dim light and then there he was in that long coat. Oh good, I was thinking "they started with that in Ukraine?" lol. We should ask Brian what he said to Adam on the catwalk during WWRY. I thought for most of the first tour that the hardest songs for him were actually WWRY and WATC, he's figured them out now though.

I don't understand the difference between radio and Spotify. For a song to "explode" in Spotify it needs to be on the big playlists, so it gets exposure, doesn't it? So what's the difference between such playlist and a radio station? Spotify playlists are ran by some individuals but most Spotify owned playlists are computer controlled and now days there are a lot fewer "tastemaker" playlists (ran by bloggers etc). Spotify has big rules about not paying any of their human ran playlist owners but they can't control tastemakers. Listeners can treat playlists like radio stations. You sample until you find a playlist you like and then you mostly listen to it. Trend setters etc like to listing to New Music Friday playlists (there are multiple with some country specific) for at least part of their week. Music that does well (gets likes and replays) on New Music Fridays are likely to get moved up to at least one bigger list, if they do well on the bigger list then they get on even bigger lists. Sometimes a song percolates for months before something sets it moving up again, often it's a remix. Do US listeners drive the lists? Yes for HipHop, No for Pop. Europe? Nope, not enough people. Who then? Latin, Asia, Malaysia - they have the right mix of a younger audience which is multiple times the size of the US market and they listen to a lot of Pop. So the computers are watching what Spotify listeners in Jarkarta are playing.
