I am not a professionally trained dancer, but I have done a lot of ballroom & latin dancing, and amateur competitions, and I am pretty sure someone has taught Adam proper dance moves. And he must've trained and practiced as well. You can see it in the way that he moves. It's his fluidity, the balance, the proper way to do spins, the way his extends his arms to make a good shape. Sometimes a few 'classic' moves from dances I know sneak in as well. I've seen him do salsa, and lately also some poses that look a lot like paso doble. And he posted a short vid in which he did a jive-like dance with ashley some time ago. He positioned his arms just right, definitely looked as if he'd done that before. Doesn't say anything about whether he really had ballroom/latin training, but at the very least he was taught how to dance, and how to dance with somebody as well. That and I don't think he'd even have such great stage presence without having taken some form of dance lessons. Even when he's just standing or walking across the stage, you can see the fluidity and balance. I don't think I've ever seen him stumbling across the stage. His every movement is purposeful, and he is in full control of his body-which is what dance teaches you. Also, dance teaches you that movement is nothing without stillness. And Adam can do those dramatic still poses like pro dancers do.

That negative LA Times review has turned into a WIN for Adam and Queen in my opinion. The comments are pure gold and most have been written by Queen fans not "us". Many of them have apparently been deleted because it still says "45 comments" and there were at least that many when I first saw the article. You can sort by Newest, Oldest, Most Liked, etc. When you sort by Editor's Picks none come up. If there was any justice LA Times would fire that reviewer, but I bet he's gonna get away with it. It's not that he wrote a bad review, it's that he was unprofessional... my 2 cents...

How emotional Adam was singing this song! It may not have been the most 'perfect' WWLF vocally speaking, but I'm gonna paraphrase a former AI judge "it's like he tore his heart open and left it on the stage"--I felt his pain and it was heart-wrenching.

And every single comment was positive!

Ha, ha, feel free to steal it. You've given me so much enjoyment in this thread alone with your analyses (even though I don't know music theory!) that it's the least I can do.
